Will creating a facebook page generate more traffic/income??
Hey everyone!
So lately ive been thinking about making a facebook for my website with the idea that It would help create more traffic, and/or keep the vistors that have seen my site, coming back. I feel like i heard the idea in one of kyles lessons or somewhere else on WA.
Do you guys think its a good idea or a waste of time right now?
Also, if your feeling generous i'd love your advice about a question i have on my other blog post, "My Future at WA, Advice".
You guys rock!
Kind Regards,
Sierra

There are some really successful internet marketers that have massive results from Facebook. Social media marketing is an industry all of it's own. People who do really well in it are "power-users".
Facebook is also one where, if you want really good results, you might have to invest in their paid advertising to get exposure for your page/site. You might want to think about whether you want to get into all of that or not.
I think it's a great idea to add supporting spaces like a FB page, G+ etc. A tip: When you have these pages in place, as well as twitter, linked in etc, go to addthis.com and download their addon for your browser. Then each time you have added a post to your blog, share it to al your own networking spaces. It keeps those spaces fresh, keeps your site in front of people there and creates backlinks which is good for SEO (not facebook though as they are 'nofollow').
Facebook or other popular social media like twitter, g+ or Pinterest are another source of traffic generation. using them helps you from avoiding completely dependent on Google for traffic. I opened up a Facebook and G+ page for my website, and even before posting anything, I got followers and likes for my pages.
Just post every article you publish on your website. And write everyday. I have personally experienced traffic that are directed from Facebook. People really make 6 figures from social networking even if they have huge bounce rates. IT IS TRUE.

Facebook seems to work for many who employ the right techniques and invest the time. Facebook takes time to engage and get the right people to like your pages, keep posts fresh, but not spammy like you are strictly trying to sell something to them. It's another platform to add to your marketing tool kit. -Christine
thank you, do you know any types of techniques one would do with a facebook? I would just post my newest posts on my facebook page plus other fun things right?
You can do searches in facebook and use keywords to find those interested in a certain niche. Then send friend requests to them. Also join some groups, FB let's you know of friends in that group. You can also receive notifications when they post to the group. You can PM some, but don't start out sending links. Just ask what they do, etc to start engagment. Then go from there. This is just 1 of many strategies. -Christine
awesome thanks so much
Yes right. But also share your post from your Facebook page with your friends on your personal page. Starting out, you are most likely going to have more friends than likes. So let you friends know you made a new post on your FB page for them to check out. Since they are friends they are more apt to like your page and increase your likes.
