Good Morning WA'er's - As the new year and the new decade unfolds itself I'm reminded that in order to create the business, relationships, and the income I want I must follow through.

I have been "slacking" the last few weeks! I have not been reaching out or continuing my training because "of the holidays". It can be a legitimate excuse but so can anything. I tell myself I can catch up at anytime and I can but the real issue is that I was creating momentum and now I have to ramp everything up again! So, here I go.

I have a phrase I follow (most of the time) that is "If Not Now Then When". This phrase has been a game changer in my life for everything I do. I have a tendency to procrastinate - the "I'll do it later" mentally. When I started living this phrase I ask myself the phrase every time. The reality about procrastination is eventually it has to be done - right?

You do have to pay your bills, you do have to make your bed, you do have to do your laundry, you do have to make your sales calls, you do have to finish your training, you do have to put fuel in your vehicle - you get the idea! What you "need" to do does not go away.

Well maybe it can go away - if you don't pay your utilities they will shut them off, if you don't put fuel in your car, you will run out of gas, if you don't make the sales call you will lose the business.

Every decision to postpone doing something has a reward or consequence attached to the every.

I have been using this phrase for a long time and it has actually has reed up my time. The reality if you don't do it now, then when - these tasks/projects still need to be done. When using the phrase I have more of a tendency to get things done now! My mind has less clutter to remember and fret about.

This blog is an example - as I was reading other new content on WA - I said to myself "I need to do a blog post" then I thought I would make a cup of tea before writing the post then I read my phrase that sets on my desk that motivated me to do this NOW.
