My First Week on WA
Today marks my first week on WA. I couldn't be more delighted with this platform so far. I have significantly improved my existing two websites (adding better structure, seo plugin, added content, and generally did some clean up).
Yesterday marked another milestone: joining the Affiliate Bootcamp and starting the first lessons. I have created a dedicated site, targeting English teachers abroad. I feel that this is an ideal target market for me, having not only taught English for the last six years, but also managed a recruitment agency for foreign teachers in Thailand. The new site is still in its infancy; I have created the basic structure as well as an About and Getting Started page. I plan to spend the next few days continuing with the lessons and adding valuable content.
What delights me most about my WA membership, however, are not the tangible results so far, but rather the relationships I have been able to make. Adding such a strong community aspect to WA was a stroke of genius by its creators, Kyle and Carson, as it builds the best basis for people to stick with the program and learn from each other.
I look forward to new friendships and new knowledge to make my sites more valuable to their visitors, as well as sharing some of the things I learn with others who are just starting out.

Love your idea with targeting English teachers abroad, I think this is a very hungry audience and one that would really benefit from WA. Nice work on your progress in just the first week!
Thanks much, Kyle. You and Carson have created a true gem with WA and as a result are impacting so many lives positively. Kudos!
Thanks Hilda...and right back at you! You're going to move to Italy? Way cool! The food, the people, the sights, the culture... You'll love it!
Hi Senn, Your English and Teaching skills will serve you very well here. I look forwards to following you.
Marketing is all about building relationships and even more so on WA as we are here to learn and help each other.
Indeed, Neil. And the way WA is built not only acknowledges this marketing wisdom, but embraces it in an ultra cool way.
Really well, Andy. Thanks for asking. I'm now on Lesson 4, coming up with 3 themes that will be relevant to my target audience (English Teachers Abroad) for the Online Marketing site. I'm searching for topics that will be truly valuable for English teachers, rather than rushing in with the obvious "Scam Alerts", "Program Reviews", etc. Haven't really come up with truly compelling themes, but I'm sure it'll click soon.

I agree, the community is pretty amazing here on Wealthy Affiliate, and it's one of the main reasons I'm still here. Oh and congratulations on your successes!
Thanks Alvin! I'm really amazed and delighted with the community here at WA. It is unique and I'm going to stress this aspect as I'm moving forward with my latest site I'm building during the Affiliate Bootcamp.
It's a pleasure being connected with you and I too, wish you much success.
No problemo! And good, good; the community is probably the best part about Wealthy Affiliate, so stressing that aspect would be a good idea. Thank you for the wishing of much success, my friend!
