First Adsense Revenue
I don't check the account often because I haven't been ranking. One site climbed to #15 on Google, stayed for 10 days, then dropped completely off the radar. Another site has been up and down, but never above #100. It's about #40 on both Bing and Yahoo. I never expected any visits or click-throughs. So when I saw earnings I about fell over onto the floor.
It's not much - just $1.52. But, it is a start. And proof of concept. IT WORKS!
Never thought I would get this excited over a buck and a half.
I think that comes to about two cents per hour for the time I spent building and promoting my sites. Wash, Rinse, Repeat ... fifty thousand times ... and I can be a Thousandaire!
Seriously, this is my first actual revenue. And I know Google won't send a check for just $1.52. But, it's still pretty cool.

YAY!!!! That is awesome Scott. Believe it or not I don't even had Adsense set up on my business site. SMH...I'm slacking. But this post just made that a top priority. Thanks for the update. Keep up the great work. :)

Congrats! You have made some money. And you will make more. See, you will probably be one of the 3-5% of people that stick with it. The money is not important as knowing that this does work. When you know it works then you will continue on. Now that was adsense and you will eventually have sales from your site. I remember my first sales on products and I was so excited. Since then I have made more and you will get there too! Stay excited and don't give up like most people do!

I don't remember where I read this, but it said making your first dollar online was the most difficult....and many people drop out of the game before they earn their first dollar.

This is the validation most people need to realize that this works and typically leads to much greater things. Imagine if you had 10 or 100 pages indexed in Google brining you in this sort of money each and every day. It happens and overtime your business will naturally scale and produce you more and more daily revenue.
