Photoshop HELP !!!

Hi everyone.

Ive created a new logo for a client in 3D but don't want a background. I opened a new page in cs6 and set background to transparent, made the logo and then hit the save for web button.

When I upload the logo to the site it always has a white background on it. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong ? Do I have to save it a different way ? I am quite new to photoshop cs6 so any help would be really appreciated SOOOOO frustrating !!

Cheers

Scottie

You must save it as a .png to have a transparent background...

Hey Scottie. Make sure the background appears as chequered squares in PS which means it is definitely transparent. Then save it as a .png. JPEGs do not support transparency. Rich.

IT WORKED !!!! Knew it would be something really stupid. Thanks Rich your a star!!! :-)

Huh! You still owe me 2 backstage passes for the O2. At this rate, you'll shortly be ceding me the VIP concession. :P Rich.

Two passes? Awww thanks Princess! I've always wanted to go backstage at the O2!

You were always going, Luke, with or without a ticket. I'd feel underdressed without my own busboy at one of Scottie's debauched events. :) R. x

Lol you got it !! Gotta get a gig there first though lol
