No more WordPress for me
I have given up on WP Express. Every time I try doing something I end up breaking my site.
And because I'm on the other side of the world (New Zealand) it can take days to get it fixed - time I feel I can spend better working with more flexible tools.
So I've decided to give up on WP Express. I'd much rather build my site with a proper tool like XSite Pro and upload it to WA hosting. And I'll keep on using WA for training purposes.

I have used XsitePro also and it is a great program. Here is a link(non affiliate) where you can get some free tips and tricks for XSitePro. >>http://www.xsiteprodesigns.com/
Thanks guys, but it is with WP that I have an issue, not with hosting. So offering help to get WP installed on another server doesn't address my problem.
Today I re-created my site in XSite Pro, and it took me half a day to get to where I got with problem-riddled WP in three weeks...
Thankfully I have an alternative, and I'll simply dump WP... without any sad feelings.
Sorry to hear that, I use WP on hostgator and don't have much trouble. It is very simple to do, but if anyone is interested I have some video tutorials for installing WP on any server. Best part is they are free, let me know if interested.

You don't have to quit Word Press, just host your site somewhere else.
And if you still have problems, just keep working at it, you'll pick it up.
WordPress is just too awesome to give up on.
WP Express I do not like, however, WP works great. I think it works better when you have your own hosting account and can install WP from there. One question though. Why is WP not proper?
Maybe try WA member Henry's FREE Wordpress Blog install and indexing offer, details here: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/wa_forum/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=90542
I have had the same problem with Express, it's good to know I am not the only one. I thought I was doing something wrong. I just use a text editor and FTP and upload to my site. I have WordPress installed on the website.

I gave XsitePro a trial once, but could not get on with it... something about old dogs and new tricks! Though I know many people love it, and if you can work with it then great! I have not used WP Express yet, but I do use wordpress quite a lot, it can be annoying when a theme does not do what you want and your PHP skills are not good enough to fix it (thats me!)... but in general I have found it great for producing a wide variety of sites, and with the right theme or plugin you can normally do just about anything. Keep it up though, whatever platform you use!
