Kayaking in the Sierras
The rush of the water is very swift and chilly, there can be rocks..primarily based on the yearly snowfall. The lakes are so amazingly pristine and beautiful they don't look real. Appropriately there are a few named perfectly..Emerald, Turquoise, Tourmaline . You can see the fish dozens of feet at the bottom of Laurel Lake right outside of Mammoth.
To go there you would need a rugged 4 wheel drive vehicle and a lot of nerve!. Depending on the weather this road may be closed. The camping is beautiful and allowed, as recent as last year. Some of the other lakes in the area are Heart Lake, Chicken Foot, and some others tucked back in Mosquito Flats. It is quiet but busy with waterfalls beside you most of the way depending on which path you follow. The lakes and water spots are so incredibly numerous thankfully, because for me,it is soo very dry so to hike beside water is so soothing.
It is thank you
