Slow and Steady wins the race
I am in the middle of building my first web site. I am a profectionist. I want it to look professional and not like a 45 year old woman sitting in her flannel PJs just built it.. (which is exactly what it is) . My first web site will be dedicated to the keto lifestyle which I am well educared on. Content will not be a problem as I plan on just blogging about my favorite recipes (to attract traffic) and of course have my links on the page.
I feel like I am moving too slow in my training becasue I am spending so much time on my site. Does anybody else feel this way? I know there is no set limit to how long it should take to get through the training. I bascially only have time to train at night after work and on the weekends. (I am utilizing every bit of this time).
I can't wait for this first site to be done and I can officially launch it.

Hi Sassy,
Determination wins the race :) I wish you success with your site. Can't wait to check it out. Best wishes,
PG
Hi Sassy, who are you calling old in pjs working on laptop?! Just joking..I love it (I am actually the 46 year old woman working on laptop in pjs most days lol!) and totally get what you mean. I too take ages on my website, even after publishing I go back and read it all over again visualising, how my readers will understand or connect to my content. Hey you take the time you need, most of the other perfectionists here will understand where you are coming from, and you are not slow, just good at what you :)
Thanks Snazzy! ( I love the word Snazzy!) I appreciate eth words of encouragement. My site is starting to look nice. But I agree with going back on re-reading. I want to come across as intelligent yet hip but also be able to cater to all ages!
All the best and welcome I too am training like forever but I like it because am learning
Hi, wishing you the best of luck with your business.
I will have to add, if I were you, I'd get the content going, pronto... It takes a bit of time for the SERPs to 'understand' your site etc.
There is plenty of time to fix what needs to be fixed on the site.
I absolutely promise you, there'll always be something to fix and improve on your site.
So, in my opinion, you could be wasting valuable time, while you could be building your Pinterest followers, and pumping out the content daily - the content that will bring you the money. Loads, hopefully. :)
(Could you tell I'm talking from experience? lol)
Have a great and productive week ahead!
Alenka
your website will always be evolving I started my site 5 years ago when I was 40 and I still am never happy with it. I say get your content out there and ask the community for feedback. You can always go back and add or subtract things you don't like.
Regards
Jason
PS. I work in my PJ's all the time I've actually been on my couch working all day in them LOL
It is a very beautiful website. With the intention that you devote and pay attention to it Wish you success soon
My advice - try not to be such a perfectionist and just get good unique quality content out there. You can pretty it up later.

A profectionist? Haha - couldn't resist.
Hey launch your site. Even a skeletal site out there is better than nothing. Just fill it in and let is start marinating.
If you watch Jay's live training he launches sites that are barely more than the domain name.
Best of luck
