I have considered the same thing many times. If I get some traffic or impressions to an old site, I continue with that. You can check impressions and clicks on Google Search Control.
I would update the posts that still get some impressions and move to the next ones.
If you don't have any impressions and want a fresh start, you can always build a new one.
If your old website has been live for the past two-plus years, it has more benefits than a brand new one. I would review the senior site and improve it where it needs to be improved.
You can always build a new site since you have another nine sites with access to build when you are ready to do it.

Hey Paul the first question I would ask is whether my heart is still in the old one and whether the niche has legs. If so then I would dust off the old one and re establish. If you have the ability why not do both - keep the old one and launch a new one?

I have decided to relaunch the old one. I was getting a bit of traffic and I just need to focus on it again and keep writing articles for it. May be in a few months I'll launch a new site? I hope so, thanks for your help Hugh.

Hey Paul,
They provide you with 2 options.
Option #1 you can use a plugin to add the HTML code to the header of your website: Why Use Headers and Footers Plugin Option #2 would be better because you would NOT need a plugin for this option. You could simply upload their HTML file using your FTP access.
If you are uncertain how to use your FTP access then the plugin would be the better option for you.
Hope you find this helpful.
Hey Paul,
Here is video to show you how you can upload their HTML verification file... using a plugin so you won't need to use your FTP access: Upload an HTML File
Hey Paul,
If you did decide to install and use the File Manager plugin, you CAN Deactivate and Delete it until you need it in the future. This way you wouldn't need an extra plugin.
Thought you would want to know.
I appreciate your help Triblu. I'm in the process of changing themes so I had to contact site support. Thanks for your help I really appreciate it :)
