Finishing my eBook
Hey guys,
I am currently in the process of putting the final touches on my eBook. My goal is to have it ready to launch on Monday in time for my website bday. Oh but there is still quite a bit to do. Will be working all weekend, hopefully I won't get distracted.
I am writing this eBook to give away for free to people who sign up for my newsletter. Which will be launched at the same time.
It has been a long process and it feels great being in the final stages. Although it feels just as intimidating. (I wrote a book, i still can't believe it)
While excitement and nervousness keep me motivated to work through the weekend, I wanted to ask you guys what you think of my first eBook cover design. I know it is pretty basic, but I hope it looks appealing and gives the reader an idea of what will be inside the book.
Any feedback is appreciated.
Thanks in advance, you guys rock!

Congratulations Sarah, keep the title as shown, there is no difference to the suggested change, Bravo for you. Hector Olivera
Thanks Hector. I am glad to hear so many people like it and are looking forward to the eBook :)
Thanks Frankie, it means a lot. I will let you and everyone in this post know when it is available :)
The feeling of pride is starting to bubble up in me. Hopefully I will feel the same when it is done and published :). Thanks for the kind supporting words. It means a lot :)
HA HA ... The Luna Bird....very cute...very very creative....I wish you were my neighbor Sarah so we could enjoy healthy living meals and ideas once in a while. We can be virtual neighbors I guess.
Thank you so much. I guess we will have to settle for virtual neighbors, but that is ok too :)
Wow! Congrats on all you are accomplishing! You go girl! I have some ebooks too and I still remember how exciting it is to finish one, especially the first one. I actually love your cover! Looks great! Only one suggestion: I would change it to A Comprehensive Guide to Understanding Food Labels. Much less redundant sounding. That's just my two cents. Again, congrats and keep up the great work!
Thank you Linda I appreciate it. I chose the comprehensive and comprehending words cause I remembered my teacher telling us about how similar sounding words resonate with the reader. I think that was the only take a way I had from that class. Lol. But i appreciate your feedback and will rethink my title over the next two days :)
This looks great Sarah. Will be interested to get a copy. Sounds very interesting. The cover is very appealing and eyecatching. Cheers
That is cool! Congratulations! Let us know when the book is out. Want to sign up for it and your newsletter.

I think it looks pretty good! What email/newsletter provider/plugin will you be using? Did you use a special program for the ebook. I ask because I'm also thinking of doing an ebook.
Hey Ana, thanks for the kind feedback. For my newsletter provider I will be starting out with mailchimp until I start to earn a more steady income from my site. For the design I used http://canva.com. I usually use it for all my blog images as well to add fancy text. It's a great free resource. But the rest of my eBook is all done in Word and will then be converted to PDF. I am pretty nifty when it comes to doing things for free :)
Hi Luna, thanks for your fast reply. I've looked into mailchimp too, but was still comparing different provider. I use canva.com a lot too and photoscape. Yes, why spend when you can save! :)
That is exactly my motto. I also recently started to use piktochart for infographics. It is a great free tool you should check out if you are interested in developing some eye catching graphics :)
Thanks I'm always in for this sort of thing. I'll check it out.
I've looked into it. Good stuff, I didn't even know I was looking for this. LOL. Thanks once again!
Always happy to share free useful resources :)
