Hi - try this method instead, but you will have to do each post individually.
Open up a post for editing in WordPress, and look at the row of icons above it. There is a square-shaped one, next to the chain-link. Use this to insert "read more" wherever you want within the post.
By the way, you don't have an Affiliate Disclosure, which is a legal requirement. Here is the latest training. Affiliate Disclosures, FTC Guidelines, and Amazon Rules
Diane - thanks for the response! I definitely will read the Affiliate Disclosure training. Thanks for the tip.
The tip about inserting "read more" won't work the way you are suggesting. It seems like all of my posts are using the new block editor and I don't see the old interface with the icons you mention.
Thanks for your help!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Both you and Diane have been a great help! I found the "read more" attribute under the "+" symbol at the top left. It is the "add block" icon. I just added it to one of my posts and it worked!! You guys rock!!

I think I caused myself a problem and I need some suggestions on how to fix it. My WA review is titled: Wealthy Affiliate Review - How to create a successful online business. I
Assuming your posts are reasonably new (last couple of months) - Personally I would take the safe option and change the title and URL.. Pretty sure you can do this in WP, without needing to copy back into sitecontent.
Thanks for the response. I could have sworn that I read that you should never change the permalink on your posts. Since my site is fairly new would that cause me any problems with the search engines if I changed the permalink?
With your site being new ... your ranking is insignificant at the moment, so better to get it sorted now and change the permalink.
One year down the line.. and I'd agree with the advice never to change it .. your ranking would go down or disappear.

First, I downloaded the EWWW plugin. It had a bulk optimizing feature which I used. But, I am confused about which images got optimized. Did the plugin go into each of my posts
Hey Frank,
If your website is hosted on WA web hosting servers then you should use THE best image optimizer available, which was announced by Carson in his post, here: Kraken Image Optimization Now at Wealthy Affiliate However, there are several different tutorials available when Google searching for EWWW plugin tutorials. See screen print below...
Regarding SiteContent optimizing your images... for confirmation as to your understanding, you can review Carson's post here: SiteContent Images is Here! Over 1,000,000 Optimized Images. as I do not use SiteContent.
Hope you find this helpful.
Here in lies my problem. Both of my websites are older and so, I am assuming they are not on the new servers and Kraken is not available to me currently. That was the reason I am trying to get info on the EWWW plugin. I will check out the EWWW tutorial. I really appreciate the help! Thanks!!
As long as those websites are hosted on WA servers (I'm sure Carson mentioned this in his post announcing Kraken) then you CAN get this new plugin installed and setup.
For obvious reasons, it comes automatically installed on newly created websites.
If you have ANY issues, simply contact SiteSupport: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support

Once you have created a site map in Google Search Console, what happens when you create new posts? Do you have to create a new site map to add the new posts? Or, do the new pos
Hey Frank, once you've submitted your sitemap it will automatically update every time you add new content so no need to worry about that.
What you can do though is submit a URL for inspection within google search console once you've hit publish. It just gives Google a little nudge to say "Hey, here's some new content!" and will usually end up indexing your post quicker.
That is actually what I did. But, after I submitted my URL for inspection, I was wondering if the new URL would be added to my site map. Thanks for the quick response!!
Hey Laura! Thanks for the quick response. Now, another question: If I have created a site map in Google Search Console, do I still need to create one in the All in One SEO plugin?
you need to update and then put one into your google console. if you didn't update your sitemap in AIO then do that and put in another sitemap to the webmaster (console)
Your all in one SEO plugin will generate new site maps if you have it set up properly to do so.
I will send you a screen shot of set up.

I watched all of the videos that Marion suggested in her answer and now I actually like the new block style. I will probably watch some of her other training videos. She is very helpful.
When the Block Editor first became part of WordPress core I created some videos on how to use it. Type "marionblack gutenberg" (without the quotes) into the grey search box at the top of the page to find them.
Or check out this page for direct links WordPress
Thank you very much Marion!! I will go through your tutorials now to learn "Gutenberg". Maybe I will like the new block editor once I know how to use it.
