Finished my email marketing campaign!
It has been four months in the making and I still can't believe I finished it. After weeks of writing, editing and figuring out all the details of email marketing the hardest part is over.
When I first started to think about starting an email campaign I knew I wanted to offer something for free to encourage readers to sign up for my newsletter. I decided to write an eBook to give out for free. Finishing the book was by far the hardest and most time consuming task at hand. But now that it is published I am super happy. It will continue to attract attention and invite readers for months and hopefully years to come.
Now I just have to build my list and work on my emails that I will send out weekly. I am very excited and hope that this post will encourage others to work on their own campaigns for their website.
Having a good list of readers that you can directly connect with is a major advantage in affiliate marketing. I will continue to write about how this venture of mine turns out and develops.
If you want to check out my campaign and maybe even get my free eBook just click the link below. Would love to know what you guys think. :)

Congrats, that's a big undertaking. I'm checking out your ebook to see what I can learn from ya!
It was really good and thorough. There were a lot of things I didn't know especially about Organics, and the info is quite unfortunate to learn that it's not as regulated as it would appear. :(
Your infographics are really helpful and if I could suggest it would be to replace some of the text, or supplement the text with more of those as you update along the way. Also another suggestion for pictures would be photos or illustrations of what a balanced meal looks like. But truly impressive undertaking and helpful little guide, I'm certain it will help you! You should be proud!
Thanks Brandi, that is really helpful. I will consider adding more infographics with time. I do like the suggestion with a balanced meal photo or illustration. When I was writing this eBook I actually found it quite irritable how unhelpful most recommendations for a healthy diet where on the web, which gave me the idea for my second book. It will be all about a healthy diet and how to get everything that you need, while analyzing what is wrong with our diets today. So I will probably develop pictures in the process. One of those will surely fit into this eBook, so thank you again for your helpful tips!
Well done. Are you able to give me any tips on making a short stories Word document book into an ebook please? Thank you. Wendy.
Hey Wendy,
thanks for the kind feedback. Word has a lot of features that are under-utilized. I believe the most important section i used was the insert tab at the top. if you use the headlines from word you can insert a table of content that is easily updated. The hyperlink section allows you to link to any section in your text for example. The best thing I can recommend right now is to use an old text document you have and experiment with the features and learn more about it. I will be developing a training in the next few weeks to share what I learned developing my eBook in word and I will be more than happy to share it with you when I am done.
Currently I am using mailchimp. I will change it eventually, but I don't have to money to pay for one at the moment and mailchimp allows me to get 2000 subscribers for free. It should be enough to allow me to build a decent list and get used to email marketing before I start to pay for the autoresponder :)
It should but please be aware you cannot import a list when you start to pay `because you cannot prove there was a double opt in or permission to email them
i might have to continue to use mailchimp then or have two lists from which I run my campaign. I will see how it develops
Sarah, you are taking action, and if you lose your list you will I am sure learn a lot and start again Those that succeed are those that take massive action, and you are doing it in spades.
