A $1,000 / $2,000, $3,000 a Month?????
When I first started dabbling in internet marketing 7 years ago, I was sure that I would be making thousands of $ in no time...maybe even millions. Oh, such a dreamer! Just so you know, I HAVE come to my senses.
One failure after another has lead me to an epiphany of sorts...
Suddenly, it wasn't about the 'almighty' dollar...it became a mission to prove to myself that... "I can do this". I had come too far, spent TOO MUCH MONEY and I had learned way too much to stop.
The ironic thing is, in order to prove to myself that I'm 'successful', I have to make money. "and after all my preaching, telling you it's not about the money."
To tell you the truth, my dream of grandeur has been downsized somewhat. At this point in time, I would be OVER THE TOP EXCITED making $100/month.
At this stage of the game, this to me...would be success!
The funny thing is, if I was making $100/month, it would put a fire under my butt and who knows where that would lead. :) One thing is for sure, this 'FIRE' would no longer be about the $...it would be about the journey. It's the journey that breeds success.

You and Kyle couldn't have said it better. Even though I NEED to make some money in this business, I know I need to think about helping others first. Our retail store is the same way. We have the reputation in town as the ones who help when you need answers to your pet's problems. It, at one time, made us very successful.

Oh my...I am no expert but I have learned a lot of 'what not to do' over the years. First, success does not happen over night and you will need to work hard. Head down, butt up! Follow the program here at WA and, definitely, don't be jumping all over the place. Step by step, step by step. It's a process! You will have no better mentors here. You will get frustrated...that's a given. Lastly, then I'll stop...have the tenacity to say "I'm going to do this come hell or high water". Wishing you all the best.
Right now I would define success as making enough money to keep this venture going. At the moment that seems like a far off dream, but I have not been at this very long and I will NOT get discouraged. This is a business and a process, and as such, it will not happen overnight, but I firmly believe it will happen if we keep at it.
I absolutely agree! The journey will bread success!! I tell my clients to get excited about their journey!!!
It has taken me a long time to realize this. Hopefully, this little post will help other realize the importance of their journey. :)
