When I am working through wordpress, the image sizes in my post are much different than when I go to view my site. When I go to my site, it blows up the pictures significantly.

It may be a good thing to know the sizes of your images in the first place. WordPress images sizes are:

- Thumbnail size (150px square)
- Medium size (maximum 300px width and height)
- Large size (maximum 1024px width and height)
- Full size (full/original image size you uploaded)

I believe most Themes will support these sizes as standard without customization.

I found that if I put it on my desktop and open them with "Microsoft Paint" and resize the "pixels" to horizontal = 1100 pixels and the vertical will automatically put the right number in there. Then upload it back to website. For some reason this has NEVER failed to my pictures fit perfect and look great. I hope you find this helpful.

Thank you so much for your help! I am on a mac, but will try out a similar program. I used to use Windows and knew how to do everything on it :-P

See if there is a sizing option for the display of images in the settings of your theme. This most likely can be found within the "Customized" area of your theme. If you cannot find the solution there you may have to choose a new theme.
