Happy New Year everyone!
Wishing everyone a prosperous, healthy, and happy year!
I am looking forward to the growth my website will make this year. I am only about a month in and have already made a lot of progress. I have almost completed level 4 training and am actively working on ideas and posts for my site.
I never tend to make any resolutions as I find them generally difficult to hold myself accountable. Throughout the year I am always coming up with ideas or ways to improve myself, life for my family, or progress in my career. I tend to put those in motion when I see fit instead of forcing them at the beginning of the year. Maybe I am "bah-humbug" in a way about New Years, but I do know myself and what works for me!
That being said, my resolution over the last couple months that I will continue is making sure that I spend at least 20 minutes of quality time with my son each day. This is undivided attention time. No electronics to be seen! I know this does not sound difficult or like a lot of time... and many days I do get much much more than this... however, my work shifts are very long and I am away from home about 14 hours on those days. So that is when this gets more difficult. I have thoroughly enjoyed this "resolution" and have already seen improvement in his reading and in the way that the stress of work impacts me.
