Both house décor and fashion are great niches in that they have lots of affiliate products and keywords, but are very, very competitive.

My advice would be to get generic domain names (homedecorthatpops.com is available for instance; I just checked) but then focus on a narrow category that you can rank blog posts for. Dominate it, then do another one.

You might start with Amazon, but try to find your own vendors with affiliate programs that pay a decent commission.

Rinse and repeat.

Which ever one of your ideas you pursue, make sure you narrow your focus. Define the audience you wish to help with content about your niche. Both of those niches have a lot of competition that is why it is important to choose a small segment for a specific targeted audience..
