Milestone 1 - Check
Really excited :-)
I joined WA 10 days ago knowing that this would change things up for me.
You see, I'm coming fresh out of a program that cost me a solid $35k - but gave me insights to what I need to do to get to the next level. And just as the law of attraction would have it - Wealthy Affiliate appeared before me!
This first milestone is just that, the first milestone, of many more to come.
I've come to realize that success is like a brick and mortar building taking shape, one brick at a time - and no brick and mortar building is successful just for standing ready to house its inhabitants.
It's success has come to life bit by bit, piece by piece. In the beginning no one but the architect really knows what will come to life just by seeing the hole in the ground and weird lines of the drawings on a piece of paper.
But little by little, as it begins to take shape, every bystander can start to see what it is about to emerge from the ground, after weeks, months or years of noise, smoke and hard work put into effort, around the clock at times.
This is true success, to me at least, to see that what I set out to do 13 months ago is finally taking shape :-)
Set goals from day 1, SMART goals, the bolder the better - and divide those goals into smaller goals with a timestamp on them.
SMART = Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timely.
Never give up, stay on track, and keep focused - we all diverse and lose focus every now and then, but the winners find their way back to their path before 48hrs have passed - do this and you will surely find lasting success!
Thank you for reading this far, you are a Winner!
Much Respect for all WA members, Platinum or Starters all the same - No doubt: You have struck Pure Gold here.

Ingrid
Thank you Ingrid!
Absolutely, step by step is what continous progress is to most people in the long run.
Success awaits those who persist for sure :-)
Saemi
Thanks Mickey,
Having SMART goals have made me stand accountable to myself and my goals - goals per say are good, but picking them apart and putting a deadline on smaller increment goals really have made all the difference in my life and business.

Great post, Saemi! I like your poetic style. Powerful images.
May I borrow this concept for my blog?
SMART = Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timely
Keep it up, pal!
Richard
Thanks Richard :-)
I am what I am because of what I do, despite of what I think... ;-)
No way is this my concept, so borrow all you wish - may it be a tool in your belt for a long successful time ahead.
Cheers!

Good advice and great post Saemi. I have used that acronym for my personal training clients for a couple of decades. It is perfect for my niche.
Onward and upward in 2019 my new buddy.
Make a living, make a difference.
