I want to start a YouTube channel but.
Since I was a little girl, I 've always wanted to start my own YouTube channel but I always had fear. Now I have realized how much I need it in growing my business here on Wealth Affiliate π₯Ίπ₯Ί.
I need to pick up my courage and start somewhere ππ. I believe I can do this πͺπͺ

Hello Sabina,
I completely understand those fears, I sat on the fence making excuses for over 8 months, about not being ready, not being good enough, what if no one watches or what if I get horrid comments and so on, my daughter in the end said right let's do it, so 27th March this year, launched my 1st video, it wasn't perfect but, today I have 478 subscribers with a 1.5k hour watch time, not huge in the YT scale of things but it shows me it's doable. And one of my videos has 11k views so I am a bit chuffed...
My advice is to follow some really good tutorials because your Title and your Thumbnail are going to be your friends as well as the content. The tutorials will give you visual and audio guidance.
Here are a few excellent teams to follow:
* Nate- from the Income School stable - Channel Makers (Free)
* Think Media - Also brilliant & Will teach you to upload on any device,
(a young inspirational woman really helped me), she is called
* Catherin Manning (not her vlog channel but her YT Niche)
* Tube Buddy helps you choose your SEO titles and who is searching for what. It is a chrome extension and is brilliant
There are many really good YouTubers out there and if you mimic their success you won't go far wrong, I am not saying copy but you can certainly follow how they do what they do. Another tip I was told is to start watching someone who currently has a small subscriber list (say between 3-10k) but has good content and on some of the videos, there is a breakout, say 10K or more clicks on some of the videos that will tell you they are getting something right and are likely very soon to really grow.
& finally, Sabina remember not everyone is brilliant from the start, just go and look at some of the really successful YouTubers and look at their first video (Graham Stephan for instance)
Just be you, bring you to the table. Someone said to me (when I started) You either have to be brilliant in your Niche, (which I'm not) introducing a brand new Niche, (again which I'm not) or be someone that stands out from "yet another YTuber"
So I am just me and I keep all the bloopers in the video, we also include discussions I have (whilst filming) with the editor (daughter) that is what some of my viewers seem to like. (probably not all, but it gets me in front of them)
The advice they all give (and I mean ALL) is Feel the Fear and do it anyway.
But first, get stuck into YouTube, look at what you like, look at whats popular
(sadly I now live and breathe the platform and it takes up most of my free time. (Dont tell Partha lol)
Good luck and feel free to PM me if you want to chat
Wow very beautiful.. thanks so very much. This is very useful. Thanks for taking your time . You are such a blessing π
it is my pleasure
forgot to add, (I am no spring chicken....in fact, I'm in my early 60's ) I wanted to target the older women, beauty and skincare, (horribly competitive but much much less so for the over 60's)
Go for it Sabina
I am hoping next week (or soon) to write a blog, then post here, a "Getting my first 500 subscribers, in 7 months how and what I did" or something like that. (by the time I get 500 it might be 8 months or a year.. haha)
WA has a great support link that offers a give and take thread. This really helped me when I first launched, certainly the first two videos had lots of support from WA
Wow amazing ππ, you may share your channel so i may subscribe am sure I will learn a lot π₯°π₯°π₯°
I was the same as you. 3 weeks ago I finally plucked up the courage to do it. My first videos are not great but am learning. You can also join the YouTube academy to learn how to do it better. It is free. Haha , just passed my first certification. I now have 6 videos up and already getting people watching. Not a lo, but it is a start. It is a must these days.

Hahaha It is true, I will send the link in a PM. I have stuff on COVID and street scenes etc. I got looked at very closely by the police here, as I was not meant to take any videos. Lol. They told me to turn off my camera. But I have a small GoPro hero. A spy camera ..haha, same as Tig Tig.lol.
On the iPad at the moment, will send link tomorrow. But if you open an account you will see the training straight away.

I have start my you tube channel by singing. I mad one with nartation for only a few minutes then stop.
Let's do this
The longer you put it off
The more scarier you will be
Looking forward to hearing about your progress
I simply started mine by just uploading Blog Dog videos! They made it easy! When I am ready to get serious about it, it will be equally easy! I have no problem looking into a camera, Sabina, but if it was a live audience, I am not as sure!
Jeff
Yes, I saw them. Good stuff.
Much appreciated, Stevoi! I hope you subscribed! π²π
