Then and Now
While I am still nostalgic about Christmas, and as the day fades into eternity, let me share how it was and is, then and now, musically.
So these are some of the songs I grew up on:
White Christmas .......................... Jingle Bells ......................... Winter Wonderland
Its Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas .............................. Gee Whiz Its Christmas
Give Love on Christmas Day .................................................... O Holy Night
Silent Night .................... O Little Town of Bethlehem .............. O Come All Ye Faithful
If I recall it began with this song - the change that is - Green Christmas.
These are some of what has come since then:
Alegria Alegria ................................... Ay Ay Maria .............................. Trini Parang
Soca Santa ................................ No Place Like Home ........................ Calypso Noel
Christmas On The Hill .......................... De Paint Brush ....................... Homemade Wine
I am learning to enjoy the new genre of music by these guys though, an makeover:
So as we end another year, I pray the best for all my WA family.
May fantastic success follow you hard, smart work and please don't forget to find someone to help. Especially a struggling person.
Offer your help even though the person may come across as having an attitude. That may because of the struggle they are experiencing.
Let us make WA a more dynamic family in 2019.
Blessings to all.
(PS: I published this post too early. I was supposed to add all those songs as I have now. So to those who saw it before, yes, it has been edited. Sorry.)

Russell, I've missed your blogs! So happy to see you're still writing them. Thank you for the trip down memory lane, my old favorite is always O Holy Night and Little Drummer Boy.
Best wishes for the New Year and Yes! A more dynamic and close-knot family here at WA! Blessings!
Hi Sue, its good to be back and blogging. Was halted for a while but the wheels have begun to turn again. Hope to continue gaining momentum.
It's nice to know that I was missed though. Thank you for the blessings and wishes for then new year.
I pray the same for you. Be blessed.
So the music has changed to fit your circumstances at Christmas. I think that is great. Seems it would give a greater sense of belonging, as the music is giving you a great message about your own home country.
