Day 2: What’s the Word (press)!

So day 2 of my journey here on WA turned out to be an exciting one.Although I didn’t get as much done as I had hoped due to some website transfer issues, it quickly turned into an awesome day!

To start with, I was contacted by 3 affiliate managers who seemed to be overly excited about my strategy for marketing their software products. So much so that early this morning, I received an email from two of them containing custom builds of the software products that I am planning on promoting having my affiliate codes embedded into the build. Having custom builds is much more preferable than having to rely on browser cookies to get credited for the sale.

Needless to say, with these 3 affiliate managers onboard now, plus the 1 affiliate product I currently have onboard, I’m now 4 of 6 making me well on my way toward my goal of having 6 affiliate sites up and running in 6 months.Which truly made me breathe a sigh of relief.

After coming down from the cloud an hour later, it was back to affiliate marketing mode...

Day 1 (https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/rudystebih/blog/day-1-a-roadmap-to-niche) had me selecting an affiliate product to promote. Day 2's chore was doing keyword research. After about half an hour or so, I had a list of 40 hot topic keywords that I will be creating content for. I also managed to secure and register a keyword related domain name to my surprise!

The rest of the day was spent getting the site up and running in SiteRubix and updating the nameservers to point to the new website. I did have a couple of problems which technical support was all over. I’m very impressed with their speed of support!!!

I must say that I am also very happy with the speed that SiteRubix is serving the web pages based on my experience with GoDaddy. This is one headache I can now do away with. And I can now concentrate on actually building websites and not having to wait for them to load.

Now the big news that you have all been waiting for. I have now made available my roadmap to affiliate marketing success. Meaning, it lists the steps that I am taking to create my affiliate empire. The reason for creating this roadmap is two-fold. One, I want to be able to quickly and easily duplicate the process for my other websites. And two, after successfully proving my process when the second affiliate site is created, I plan to create an extensive training program that will have me show you on screen the exact keystrokes and mouse clicks I used to create the previous two affiliate websites all while creating my third affiliate website right before your eyes.

The roadmap as it currently sits is a top level list of steps I am using to create my affiliate website. When I start the second affiliate website, I will make a second pass through my roadmap to update it with more detailed information. Making it ready for the third affiliate website build and more importantly, the creation of the video training…

The roadmap is located on an online service called Trello. I do all of my project management & organizational tasks using Trello. And it is free to boot!!!
