Your Work Schedule Working From Home (Full Time and Part Time)

Working from home does not mean you can laze around doing nothing and expect money to come pouring into your PayPal account. Working from home is still work. There is no such term as "free money". Every money earned is money you worked for by putting in that extra mile, persistence, patience and passion. Other than these qualities, there are techniques that you need to learn in order to market your online business.

Your Work Schedule
Full Time

8 hour work day…

1. First AM Hour
Check your email when you wake up. (15 min or less)
Place 1 – 3 (or more) free classified ads. (30 -45)
Check Facebook for updates. No hanging out! It’s your working hour.

2. Second AM Hour
Listen or watch 15 min at least of personal development videos. You can find many motivational videos in YouTube. (15 – 30 min)
Write a blog and make a video about what you learned. (30 – 45 min)
Check Facebook for updates. No hanging out! It’s your working hour.

3. *15 min break*

4. Third PM Hour
Follow up with your leads. Build relationship with them. Email and ask them if they need any help on anything. (30-60 min)

5. Fourth Hour *Lunch Time*

6. Fifth Hour
Listen or watch 15 min at least of personal development videos. You can find many motivational videos in YouTube. (15 – 30 min)
Write a blog and make a video about what you learned. (30 – 45 min)
Check Facebook for updates. No hanging out! It’s your working hour.

7. Sixth Hour
Set up your email broadcast. If you don’t know what to write in your email, you can always read other people’s emails that were sent to you about a program they want you to join or about a product they want to sell. You can learn alot by reading those emails so you can take bits and pieces to put up together in your own email to your team or to email blast to your leads. Make sure you don’t spam people. Give them good valuable content to read and learn. And tell them ways how to join your business. (1 hour)

8. Seventh Hour
Focus for the next day. Get organised and make your TO DO list for tomorrow.
Start to relax your mind, meditate for 15 -30. (clear your mind and focus on wealth)
Check emails / check Facebook.

9. *Dinner Time*

10. Eighth Hour
This is the best time for you to pick up a good self-development and leadership book to read. You can also watch another one or two self-development videos in YouTube, whichever you may choose to do. Close the day by nurturing your inner self with motivation and positive vibes. Remind yourself what you want in your life and imagine it vividly in your mind. This is very important in order to reset your mindset to the new you that you want to be. Leadership, motivation and self-development videos can be great to pump up yourself to get ready for the next day. (1 hour)

Your right setting up a work schedule keep your direction and gets tasks done more quickly. Nice write up!

Great post! Thanks for sharing it. I really need to stick to something like that. It gets a bit frustrating for me, as I have items on my To-Do list which I don't knock off for the day. I think I get side-tracked quite a bit, or maybe its just 'excusitis!'.

I know what you mean. In the beginning, I side-tracked once too many because it's so irresistible when my Facebook tab blinking on top. Simply can't resist clicking it to read what messages I received. I said to myself, "Just to read this one message, that's all." But next thing I knew, I'm already going through my notifications. Replying comments. Replying messages. And BOOM! 2 hours gone! So now, when I'm doing my work, I don't log into Facebook AT ALL. It's just my working tabs on top i.e. email inbox, my Traffic Exchange sites or my safelist sites.

Tell me about it! And yes, FB is quite a distraction. I usually tell myself only 15 minutes, but I end up being on it longer than that! Am also resisting logging into FB:). Could you share what are Traffic Exchange and safelist sites? Thanks!

This schedule is great, but I wanted to know if there are any stay-at-home moms that have any suggestions for how they work from home with small children. In my mind, it's so much easier than it actually is. Hmmmm, maybe I should blog about it and see if I get any response, because at this point I'm starting to think I'm crazy for trying it, but something in me keeps saying "do it, just do it".

Hi Cadie, in one article I read it says, "Motherhood is a higher priority than your role as an entrepreneur, and to do both effectively, it's best to work during "off hours." That's when your children are not awake. Maybe this will give you a bit of an idea on how to maneuver and juggle your timing between work and your lovely children. The article also says, "Implement a nap time if you don't already. Your children will benefit from the rest, and you'll have an additional hour or two to work." I hope that helps Cadie because I'm not allowed to post links right now.

Hi again Cadie, if I can't share the link with you then why not create a whole new blog on the same, reckon? You can check out the article on my blog Cadie. Hope it helps you to kick start your online entrepreneurship on the right footing.

If anybody's struggling to minimise their Facebook usage (or any other website for that matter), there's a great free extension I use called "StayFocusd". I use it on Google Chrome and set it to limit the amount of time I spend on certain websites.

If you don't know how to install a browser extension, let me know and i'll create a quick tutorial.

Wow! I didn't know there is such a magical device. But the best Focus device around would still be the one built into our mind. Since I got active in IM, I rarely log into Facebook because too much distraction and negative vibes in there. Anyways, thanks for sharing info on StayFocused. Didn't knew it existed. At least now I'm in the know, thanks to you.

No probs Rozlina! You're absolutely right about the mind being key, however, it certainly doesn't hurt to give new productive habits the best chances for success. For example, you could try losing weight by moderating your food intake, but leaving junk food around the house certainly makes it more challenging!

That's true too. I guess everything must work hand in hand in order to produce a good output.

Thank you guys for the kind words. Honestly, it would be awesome if I can stick to this schedule but I don't. I work around the clock! LOL. Just couldn't help it when working online. The one thing that I simply have to skip totally right now is Facebook. That is one bad habit because you think you can control yourself but before you knew it, you are already side-tracked for TWO HOURS! That's not good. So I tend to avoid it. I only log into Facebook to update my status or to share any juicy news on programs of value like Wealth Affiliate! Woot! I guess this work schedule is just a guideline for those who are very new to online marketing. For newbies, things can get overwhelming and they don't know where to start. This schedule is very basic. This schedule does not include the email blasting, accumulating credits for TEs and email blasting and all those works. You guys know what I mean. Thanks again guys!

This is really nice.
A work schedule is something I should implement for myself.
I'd focus more on websites, products, content and SEO also. Perhaps looking at all segments of work you're doing and then taking out what's most important at the moment and doing that...

Awesome post. .Very useful. Thanks!
