Seven year Anniversary At Wealthy Affiliate
Good morning everyone,
I was just replying to a few blog posts when a message appeared on Wealthy Affiliate telling me that I have now been a member of this great platform for seven years! When I first joined, I had no idea how long I would be here for. There must be something pretty good about this platform for me to stay for seven years!
Prior to joining Wealthy Affiliate, I was with a smaller Internet marketing membership platform that had gone a bit quiet. I had heard about Wealthy Affiliate, so I thought I would give it a try. There was a point where I was a member of two training platforms, that was far too much work!
One of the best things I like about being part of a membership site is that I am mixing with like-minded people. Our goal is all basically the same, to earn a living online! I remember when I first started out researching Internet marketing in 2004, I was working totally blind, I did not know what worked and what didn't work! It was a very expensive process and took me three years to get my first moneymaking website up and running.
I believe that I could learn more in one month at Wealthy Affiliate than I did for three years trying various systems that did not work and cost huge amounts of money! Not only does Wealthy Affiliate save you money in the long run, but it also teaches you the correct way to build a solid online business.
In 2004, my first website which was professionally built for my offline business cost me £1000. My first money making website in 2007 cost me £2000. At Wealthy Affiliate, we can literally build a website for the cost of a domain, that's a huge difference! I appreciate that the web has changed a lot and building a website has become much easier.
I literally spent thousands of pounds buying into systems that did not work, thankfully, I did manage to find a few systems that did work! I can assure you that it is far cheaper to join and invest in a proper and genuine platform like Wealthy Affiliate. If I have known about Wealthy Affiliate when I first started it would have saved me thousands of pounds!
We Are Sitting On A Goldmine
As we know, Wealthy Affiliate has many benefits, one of the simple benefits I enjoy is hearing other members success stories. I think it is fantastic when we see members genuinely turning their lives around and making that dream happen.
We are literally all sitting on a potential goldmine, the only thing we really have to do is to take solid action. Unfortunately, the majority of people in this world are not action takers, hence, why they work for a company rather than having their own business. We all have the same amount of hours in the day, however, we have to make the decision of how we are going to use time.
The training is here, let's make the most of it and be action takers.

I bet if we polled the WA community, many of us will say we spent literally thousands on other "pie in the sky" offers.
I've been at this since 2007, and scammed by most.

I also hear where you're coming from when it comes to hours in a day.
Unfortunately, in this game we call life, I have my chips called time bet against my business at the moment.
However, next hand I'll be going all-in as far as my online endeavors are concerned.

I find it unbelievable where the time goes. My Webmaster once told me; time goes quickly, but time in front of a PC it goes double quickly! He's not far wrong!
I think it's always encouraging to look at the success stories on Wealthy Affiliate. So that when we go all in, we know the process works and we can be encouraged by other members success stories.

I recently commented on one of Simone's posts where she asked what we would fix if we had a magic wand What is that ONE thing that could stop YOU buzzing into 2022? I said to make 100 hours in a day, but lately, I'm not quite sure that would even be enough with all that's on my plate.
Although, I'm sure I could do a better job making use of the time I have.

Second, you are absolutely right about WA being the best place to be for learning how to build a business online.
Not that I know from experience like you do, because this is the only platform I've been on. But I hear about it often from others, who like you, have learned the hard (or expensive) way!

It's so important to have a training platform that teaches us the correct way to build an online business. This is what made the early days so difficult for me. I really didn't know what worked and what didn't work. Wealthy Affiliate takes the guesswork and extreme cost, out of building an online business!
I've always been one for investing in good things. I believe that the investment is minimal compared with what it cost me in the early days. Apparently, the boffins say that the best thing we can invest in is training, I agree with this.
