I Am Back From A Short Writing Ban At Wealthy Affiliate!

On Friday evening I went to open my Wealthy Affiliate account and discovered a message that said; "your write access has been revoked by admin"! I must admit I was surprised to see the message and didn't really expect it to happen to me. I am aware that this has happened to other members, I believe it may be more of a technical issue rather than members deliberately going against the rules.
I immediately sent an email to support, I actually thought at the time it may be due to a billing issue. As when I clicked on "your write access has been revoked by admin" it immediately took me to my billing page! I actually pay annually, however, my billing page still shows that I am a monthly member which creates a few issues! I actually tried making an extra payment, however, this still didn't remove my writing ban.
Thankfully, by Sunday evening, I had heard from support, my account was unlocked and I can now write again! So my write ban was literally around 48 hours.
No one in their right mind wants to receive a write ban. However, although it may be disappointing, the great news is that we still have access to all the training! In some ways, you could say that it's an opportunity to really focus on moving your business forward! I'm trying to look at the situation in a positive way!
After carrying out a search on Google, I discovered a few articles about writing bans on Wealthy Affiliate. Apparently, the best way to have your writing ban removed is to send a message via https://wealthyaffiliate.com/contact.
I found an article online from Nathaniell who made some very interesting points. One of the points Nathaniell made that was quoted from Carson, is that if we are reported more than 10 times for spam, we will receive a write ban. I don't know how long a spam comment lasts on our account? I will have been a member for seven years in November, so maybe the spam comments build up over a period of time?
I believe I know why I was banned, I won't go into many details here, but I believe a member did not like the response I gave when they answered my question! It's actually fairly easy to mark something as spam if a member really wants to. The only time I mark a member as spam is if they are deliberately and blatantly going against the rules and abusing the platform!
I would just like to apologise here if I have offended anyone, I certainly don't mean to deliberately be unkind or offend anyone. There are times when we need to respond very directly and be straight to the point. However, please don't take this personally, we are part of a great community and we are here to help each other.
Just remember that we also have to be careful in this community regarding talking about politics and religion, which I fully understand! It's also good to remember that Wealthy Affiliate is all about creating an online business, it's good to keep our blog posts and questions on point! It's not a social media platform!
Thank you for reading.
