Getting Our Priorities In The Right Order!
I was reading Kaju's post at the beginning of the year which was titled, "My 2019 Golden Rule #1: Business Comes FIRST" you can read Kaju's excellent post below. I had actually been thinking about writing a similar post although slightly different.

I'm very grateful for the amount of wonderful people there are on the Wealthy Affiliate platform, it's always a privilege to read your blog posts and to read and answer some of your questions, it's something that I really enjoy doing. However, all of this can be very time consuming so I have had to make the decision to spend less time on Wealthy Affiliate and focus more on my off-line business and websites.
I have to say that I find it very easy to get carried away on Wealthy Affiliate, reading blog posts, replying to messages, answering questions, etc, unfortunately, doing this doesn't actually get the work done, so somewhere along the line I have to compromise. I will still obviously be using the Wealthy Affiliate platform but I have to make sure that I prioritise work that earns me most money first! Also, getting married for the first time 18 months ago has also meant that I have more commitments and has changed things slightly, in a good way I have to say!
Just over two years ago I started a successful off-line business which took off much quicker than I expected, a lot of this was due to the principles taught here at Wealthy Affiliate. If you can leverage the power of the Internet for either an online or off-line business, the Internet really has to be the businessman's best friend!
I have been making money online since 2007, I learned the hard and expensive way, unfortunately I hadn't heard of Wealthy Affiliate when I first started working online, it would have saved me a lot of money if I had known about it when I first started researching Internet marketing back in 2004. I know that if I focus with my online business I can do a lot better than I am at the moment, having said this, my off-line business has also taken me away from my online business and is doing well. My long-term goal is to work full-time online and sell the off-line business which I know is extremely doable as I have achieved it before!
I don't want to discourage anyone from using the Wealthy Affiliate platform as it is an absolutely fantastic place to learn about Internet marketing, if you are new to Internet marketing and you go through the Wealthy Affiliate training and take action, you will be successful! I'm just really talking about prioritising important things first.
So to conclude and I need to be accountable to this, my workload and job list has to come first and then once it is completed, I can spend more time on reading blog posts on Wealthy Affiliate!

to succeed on the internet. So I always try to find time
to write comments on the blogs because this is
an important part of this patform but I favor my work.
And I have better performance now.

I agree with you 100%!!! I have found that if I will get all my website work for the day finished then I can spend sometime reading WA blogs and emails. But if I don't finish my work then my pleasure will just have to wait another day!!

It all comes down to balance, doesn't it? I have to agree that I, too,find I spend far too much time in here answering posts and I short-change my website. I'm restructuring that by setting up a fairly rigid schedule of the things I want to accomplish on my site in a week, and trying to get those things done first. We just have to figure it out.

I too love WA, but I also now mostly answer my mail and messages in the dead of night just before bed.
I also felt the need to concentrate a lot more on my work.
I love the social aspect of WA and communicating with and helping others so I will also never give up on that. Good luck with all your work ventures and your new responsibilities.

I agree with you, Roy. It takes time to read and reply to messages. It is taking me more than 1 to 2 hours to clear. It can take the whole day if we are fully active, the whole day. Hence, I am limiting myself to read blogs and clear/reply all message before I turn in.
