Thoughts on the first three months with WA
Well it's been three months with Wealthy Affiliate.
Has money come into the bank? No. Should money be coming into the bank? Possibly.
So how can you invest $150 over three months and not get a single $ in return for your investment? Has it been a bad investment ? Yes.
But only regarding financial gain. You see at this time I see this as money well spent.
There have been other gains during the three months.
A website that is improving with every passing week. A community of people , some who are very experienced, who are very giving with their time and expertise. Have been able to ask questions and get answers quickly. And the training one receives is unbelievable. Easy to follow. Easy to apply.
So talk to me about making money !!
Like with all start-up businesses, the first few months are spent learning the ropes. Gaining experience. Planning and creating. Getting to know others who are involved in the business. Learning as much as you can from them. Putting in the time and effort. Asking questions and getting answers to your questions. Building a firm and strong launching pad.
And then it will be time to take-off, to launch. I believe that we will receive the signal. We wait, we work, we train hard, we hope and we have faith in ourselves. It will happen when the time is right.
For now we must just keep putting in the time and effort and striving for constant and never ending improvement.
If others can make a success of Wealthy Affiliate, why can't we ?

Unlike school, where you are investing $80K for 4 years with no income and without building a business, you are 3 months in and you have established the framework for your business already...for under $150 at that! :)
Not to mention the education, that few people have in this world about how this "internet thing" works. Keep at it Roy, you are doing great.
Thanks for the inspiration Kyle, and what you say is of course very true. Will definitely keep at it as I am enjoying it very much and the financial rewards cannot be too far in the distant future :)

In traditional business you start thousands in the hole and usually take a year to get into the profit zone. No one scoffs at this. With online business it's no different, right?
When athletes train from a young age and train throughout school and throughout college do they say "I've made no money from this!", not at all...
With online business and by following the training here at WA, when you have completed the courses you'll more than likely have consistent commissions coming in. When you incorporate all the aspects of affiliate marketing you have a very well rounded business in your lap and the sky's the limit :)

Thinking about what you said about young athletes: Young, talented tennis players don't leave school and suddenly become Roger Federers. It takes a lot of time and training to get there. Roger is of course at the very top of the pile but it took him some time before he started making good money from what he was doing. The same will apply to us. If we're prepared to train hard and learn, we can do it. Agree?

Roy, it's been my sixth month and I did not yet see any $, and as you say, the website is running and improving. There are two things that matter, content and time.
Sixth month and no $'s, Accad ? I'm sure there will be action for you soon ! Time and content - will work harder on these two !
