Writing problems-writers block!

I have some serious issues in writing. I always got bad grades for it plus I have a lot of anxiety to begin with. It's like it never goes away.. How do you all take steps to get the job done? I don't want to copy something off another website but there has to be a simple way to write easily in a flow. Most of my trouble might be from trauma I went through in the past and I don't want to be depressing I want to be positive but it's always there like an app running in the back ground. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Rosie, I know that this can really be scary and frustrating but if you look at the fact that you were able to write this question to us, you will see that you can write. Writing an article is just the same and it helps if it's on a subject that you are interested in.

Then if you write a heading, break your idea into subtitles that fit with your idea you can just fill in the information under each title.
You can have a read of a tutorial I did recently on writer's block too maybe something will help. Here are 8 ways to help with writer's block. Get back to us and let us know how you are going.
Warm regards,
Lily

Ok, I will let everyone know! Thank you!

Just start writing, Rosita, about anything that comes to mind, and before you know it, writer's block will be gone!

Jeff

Ok, I'll try.

That's the spirit!😎👍

why not talk to your computer instead.....
record it and transcribe it...or have it transcribed ...
you could even have someone else with you to fire prompts back at you ...these may become your subheads.....
you can then offer it as a mp3 as well....
i hope you get it sorted

Hi, it’s lack of confidence that is stopping you from writing. I was the same but what you wrote above sounded okay and that’s because you wrote from your heart.

My suggestion is to get a free login at Grammarly. This will help with grammar.

Always write in your own words as if talking to a friend. Have a picture of a friend in front of you.

Conversation writing is the key.

If possible get a friend or family member to proofread.

Take your time. It’s not a race.

Start small. Practice blogging in WA.

Others on the platform may suggest other pointers for you to follow.

All the best in your new adventure

That sounds right, I agree. My confidence is really low & I think pretending talking to a friend is 100% the way to get through this. Sometimes I'm a chatterbox!

That’s great Rosie. Keep chattering away. You’ll get there.

Yes I'll be that little turtle that finally gets past the finish line. It might take a little while but I'll push forward one step at a time!
Thank you,

Rosita

That's great Rosie, you will get there and achieve

The advice that says to write like you were chatting to a friend is as good as any.

I agree 100%
