Getting the hang of Gutenberg
I am pleased to announce that I am getting the hang of Gutenberg. No more risk of going bald.
Yeah.
I managed two posts today, one direct from WordPress and the other from site content. Yes thank you so much Marion. Your wonderful training meant I clicked on how to turn the one block of text into individual blocks. Sometimes I need a few whacks to make it click. But I got there.
My second post was a comprehensive Wealthy Affiliate review. Whilst I was researching keywords for the title, via Google, I found yet another uninformed review that only saw WA as an affiliate program promoting WA, although he did have some nice things to say about the community. Sent him a nice little comment with some more accurate information. Who knows, maybe the two star review might end up a three star. I don't expect much else. But I put in my two bob's worth.
I even managed to go through all my old posts and remove the links to WA and redirected them to my review so that the blog has a lot less affiliate links, as per Kyle's training. The training is definately worth redoing, it is giving me so much value. As I redo the training I am picking up on points that I missed before.
I even managed to add a button to send people direct to WA with an affiliate link on a couple of posts.. Could not get that to open in a new tab, but never mind I just added it at the end of the post.
I only had one post that did not convert to blocks. When I tried it went weird and put up a whole lot of text, I just backed out quietly and left that one alone.
All in all, an eventful day. It is now 9pm and I am about to call it a day.

I use the Thrive editor on all my websites. It's a WP plugin called Thrive Architect and it's had what Gutenberg's trying to do for years.
I'm in the early stages of creating my first WA website so don't know yet if WA will allow me to install the Thrive plugins. I hope so as they allow you to do a lot of great stuff like exit intent popups etc.
Hi!
Thank you for your post! Great information! It is nice to hear that someone is doing well with Gutenberg! I wish you continued success!

Wow, Thank you for sharing. I am only regretful that I am so unfamilar with so much of what you explain. However, it inspires me to realize growth and a vision of where I will be once I progress. Right On for the Right On!
Thank you for sharing. This encourages us who are still and the early stages of the training process
So you going to share your link to this review. We would like to see the finished project and celebrate with you.
Glad to start hearing more and more people getting the hang of it.
