What is in A name? Or A title?

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet. Yes I just quoted William Shakespeare's play, Romeo and Juliet because I think people who quote William Shakespeare appear to be smart lol

I remember when I was younger someone tried to test how smart I was by giving me Romeo And Juliet to read and then I should explain what I understood from the book. I read the book but I could not comprehend what the story was about, between thou's and shalt's I lost the plot, but I liked the pictures lol.

Baby Girl What Do We Call Her?

So what is in a name? when I was born, many moons ago, my parents couldn't decide what I should be called, see in my tribe when the first child is born, they are to be named after the farther's parents for example if the child is a girl, then she is named after the farther's mother.

And if the child is a boy he is to be named after the farther's farther, if the first two children are boy and girl, then both are named on the farther side, but if you get two boys one after another, one is to be named on the farther side and the other on mother side but if they are twins they are both named on the farther side.

I am sorry I don't mean to give you a lesson on my tribal practices, and I promise it will make sense and it will tie to Business in a minute I promise.

Please bear with me, I will make my point in a minute, so when I was born, my grandmother on my farther side, had the same name as my mother, and a child can not have the same name as the mother, that is the belief, and also it was considered taboo to discuss names before the child is born so they did not raise the issue until I was born.

The mystery Of The Name Continues

So when I was born, I had to remain un named for a few days until they could consult my grandmother about the issue.

Then they went to my grandmother and asked her, what should we call her? and she gave me the name that she thought befits me she named me after a flower and rain. Some thought, to be named after a flower was not a good idea although rain is a blessing in Africa, that's how people get to grow food and the cattle gets grass and you get milk so it was't that bad.

It was suspected that she did not actually name me after a flower, she had a lady friend who had come from a far away land and her name was Rose and despite the fact that there were political problems in the country, that would force them to be enemies, and also they could not communicate very well because of the language barrier, they still managed to become friends and then the lady had to leave the country in a hurry and they lost touch.

Of course all this happened before I was born so I really don't know for sure.

Now I am getting to my point, yesterday I was on Canva trying to design my business card for my websites, because I meet many friends when we are out and about and they ask me about my websites and I thought I would create business cards that include all my websites and I can pass them to my friends so they too can share with their other friends.

How Do You Rate Yourself In Your Business?

When I was creating the business card, I played with titles like, Rose CEO of my website Dot com or Rose Affiliate Expert at my website Dot com (I know I was pushing it lol) I would never call myself that, I would rather people call me that but not self proclaim. Then I tried Rose Founder and creator of my website Dot com. I think I will go with that one.

So this brings me to my question of the day, what do you consider yourself, what title do you give yourself when it comes to your business?

I know in your 9 to 5 you wait for other people to decide what your title will be but when it comes to your business, do you rate yourself low or high?
