I just posted a video pin, on pinterest, took 2 minutes to be approved (used to take up to 24 hours) after approval, its been just 15 minutes and the video pin already has 650 views and one save!.

Pinterest is also sending me notifications to create more video pins. If you haven't created a video pin for your article, I highly suggest you do so. Check out my tutorial on video pins here.

And if you can't find the kind of video you would like on Canva, head over to pixabay, or pexels and search there. then download the video to your computer, and then upload it to Canva to create the video pin using the pinterest pin tempalate just make sure the video is free to use, and its about 15 seconds or less.

my mind is blown, just 15 minutes. The image pin I created for the same article has been there for three days now, and it only has 95 impressions.

I think Pinterest is trying to catch up on the video world since now people are more interested in videos, so when you post video pin, they are pushing it to lots of audiences.

Conclusion

I just wanted to share this amazing news with you, I am so excited and I will now create more video pins for my articles.

Thank you for your time.

Rose.

PS. I just refreshed the Pinterest page, and the video pin now has 850 views!

Wow 😮 my post is on the top ten list here at WA, I haven’t been able to make it to top 10 for a long time, thank you so much guys for all you Comments and likes🙏🏽👌🏽👍🏽😊👏🏽

I like video pins. I agree they get lots of views, but at this point, I can’t say they necessarily get more clicks or conversions, which is what I really care about. Have you?

I wish Pinterest would show the click and conversion data for video pins like they do for regular pins, then it would make video pins more measurable. I’ve been doing both types of pins just because the video pin strategy isn’t as measurable yet for me.

I’m sure video will be the way to go eventually. With good analytics, it’ll be less risk for me.

You are right, I wish they would give more info on video pins, like how many clicks to your website you are getting from a video pin. But my way of thinking is that, if more people are seeing my video pins, and saving them to their boards, then the chances of people clicking and going to my website are higher than when my image pin only gathers 95 impressions in 3 days.

WOW!... Absolutely incredible. I use Pinterest, because its for Affiliate Marketers in the main and knew thy were moving towards this, but hadn't realised they were there now.

This is now going to the top of my markting strategies as you can't argue with stats like that at all.

Thanks for sharing

Pinterest is a great source of free traffic, if you find a sweet spot, one pin could be bringing you traffic for months, I have a pin that has been generating clicks to my website for about 5 months now.
I did try to create another pin following similar steps that I followed on the first pin but the second one didn't perform so well.

You make some valid points. I plan to look at this training today.

Awesome!

Im watching it now...

I hope it helps you create amazing video pins. I wish loads of traffic and loads of sales.

That's fantastic Rose, Well Done...
Heads over to pixabay. :-))
