I am reminded of this post and a story occurred to me. An experiment that was done around people applying for a job. Something along the lines of this. People going to an interview and all of a sudden the yearly salary was doubled but the job description was exactly the same. More than half of the people walked away and decided that they were no longer interested in the job based solely on the fact that the salary was increased so much. If people believe that something is too good to be true then they walk away. Self limiting belief as most people have said here. Also I remember something I heard from a property investor and fellow mentor of mine. He got in touch with his father later in life after never knowing him growing up. He tried to trade property deals with his fathers friends offering amazing interest rates and no one was interested. So he decreased the interest rates of these property deals to be more believable and low and behold suddenly all of his fathers friends wanted to take his deals. He wasn't trying to con them, they were his fathers friends and he wanted to make them money but unless the interest rates were believable no matter what proof was offered to them they wouldn't invest. They believed it high risk based solely on the fact that the interest rates were too good to be true.

Many people get excited, plant the seeds of success and stop there expecting the seeds to flourish, mature and bear fruit immediately.
It doesn't work that way, the seeds need nurturing as they develop into seedlings and later start to mature.
We reap what we sow, but not in the same season.

The Wealthy Affiliate ecosystem is actually a breeding ground for success if we use all of the tools. This doesn't happen overnight though. There is a hustle involved.

Seeing is believing. It's probably the way we grew up. We often internalize the lack of money instead of thinking more about abundance. In my humble opinion.

I do think some people seem to like being poor and they also do not want to make any effort to change their situation!
