Walk of WA
While interacting with the great people on WA I've communicated with people from many countries. Today, I discussed the idea of "walkng the talk" with a guy from the UK. It made me think about what my intended "walk" is in WA and to walk like I'm of WA, thus the title. You all know I like my lists so here's my mini-sermon today:
1. Serving. You can't serve someone you do not understand. Here, you must understand the culture of WA. as well as that of people from different cultures.
2. Understanding. You can't understand your WA community until you have learned about, from and with them.
3. Learning. You can't learn important information from anyone in WA until there is trust in the relationship.
4. Trust. To build trust others in WA must know that you accept and value them as people.
5. Acceptance. Before you can communicate acceptance, other WA members must experience your openness - your ability to welcome them to your presence.
6. Openness. Openness with WA members that may be different from you requires that you are willing to step out of your comfort zone to initiate and sustain relationships in a world culturally different from you.

Thanks for the great post Ronald!
Wish the rest of the world would catch on to how much healthier and more productive life can be when we all work together.

Good thoughts today Ronald. I too am amazed at all the people here at WA, people from every culture and walk in life, it is truly global. I might be prejudiced in saying this but if the world operated like WA we might just have peace in our world.
Thanks for sharing

Also respect and get along and agree to disagree is allowable because everyone has different views and opinions about something.
Many thanks. These are all necessary to forge more inclusive community.
