Emily Dickinson Wrote About WA Members?
For those of you who have not read Emily Dickinson's poem, Success is Counted Sweetest, I would recommend it to everyone. Below is a taste of what she wrote:
Success is counted sweetest
By those who ne'er succeed.
To comprehend a nectar
Requires sorest need.
Not one of all the purple host
Who took the flag to-day
Can tell the definition,
So clear, of victory!
The poem is about success and who is able to appreciate it more. The poem states that to comprehend a nectar requires sorest need, which to me means to appreciate success requires painful failures. It’s a paradox, like the person best qualified to evaluate the impact of success is the vanquished rather than the victor. So, I believe Emily Dickinson was writing that success can only be understood and appreciated by those who never, or “ne’er,” succeed.
For those of us in WA who are feeling unsuccessful with their website because it hasn't been indexed yet by Google; or because we haven't had our first visitor to our website; or haven't had our first sale, remember this poem.
Let's strive to be grateful for the difficult and challenging situations in our lives. It's often in these situations where we experience our most profound change. We should view these obstacles as an opportunity to master new skills, like website development, website content and custom niches.
God Bless,
Ron

The words you've written are Absolutely GENIUS! Truly... you couldn't have said it better. Way to GO!

Brilliant! I’ve always had the conviction that those who have struggled to lean a lesson are more effective in teaching it than those who learned that lesson with ease.
I’ve experienced this first hand as a student as well as a teacher.
Thanks for bringing this poem to our attention. It is one of those universal truths that are not well known or accepted.
Cheers.

Thanks for sharing this with us, Ron.
Being grateful for where I am every day and being content is key to me.
We all strive for success but sometimes it is all about learning patience and enjoying the journey that we are on.
All the best to you and have a great end of the week.
Darren :)
Yes! Let's be grateful for what we have, I believe success will come if we follow the WA program. Have a great weekend Darren and thank you.
