I always write something about "organic search" being my main driver of traffic, and using "keyword research" to determine which topics I'm going to write about. Mostly they want to know about your method of promotion. Organic search, SEO, ranking in Google, social media marketing - these things are what you'll be doing as opposed to paid traffic (PPC), email marketing, or apps.

Thanks Nathaniell.
I added Amazon links to some posts like how to choose an electric guitars. I figured the commission is about the same. Can I have multiple links from different vendors? I see sites that link to multiple vendors selling similar products. However, those seem to be ads. I am adding posts were I may be able to link to digital products that teach a skill related to the instrument.

Yeah, it's totally fine to have links from multiple vendors on your site.

hey there. great work. love your profile pic. here's something I learned in one of the lessons:

go to google.com and type in your niche + affiliate program and see what comes up.

e.g. guitars + affiliate program

All the best!

There is jvzoo also and I have had pretty good success with it.

I would think Click Bank would be a good place to start. They take new people just getting started. I have made very good money using Click Bank. I did a quick search and there are a lot of guitar courses for all age levels on Click Bank.

Tie that into Amazon or somewhere else for selling guitars and such and it should work for you.

I would shop around. It never hurts to apply, but CJ's vendors often look for established sites with good traffic numbers. You can also find vendors through

shareasale.com
awin.com
pepperjamnetwork.com
linkshare.com

and others. It never hurts to apply.

Also, with a niche like guitar, definitely search Clickbank and JVZoo for less mainstream products that often have a higher commission payout. You might find someone who has built a great "learn guitar" product that they're selling for $100 and offering 50% commission, etc.

So, I guess its ok to have several different affiliate programs on the site. Use Amazon for the guitars for example and clickbank for something like innovative lessons..

Definitely! Diversification gives you the chance to sell to different kinds of buyers.

I have not experimented with this yet. I noticed that when one creates a post it defaults to an excerpt with a continue reading... Can you add posts to the same post "page" as

You can eliminate the excerpts and have full blogs rolling through your home page. Go to site manage>settings>reading and change the settings to full text from summary. You can also indicate how many posts you want to show up. As well, you should go to site manager>customize>post options>full post.
This should get you back to the full blog roll.

Hi drjec,
Thank you!

I tried those things to no avail. I realized that the function is theme dependent. I switched theme and it seems to have worked. So,now I have the whole post displayed....

Thanks good.
