Training Level 3 is complete.

Shortly after starting the training, I decided to view all the training, not doing the assigned work, because it kind of baffled my mind. When I complete viewing the training, I'll go back and view it a second time and complete the assigned work. I think I'll have a better understanding of what to do and where I want WA to take me.

I had been frustrated with my internet, it was very slow and very expensive. I researched what else was available in my area. I chose to try Earthlink, they got decent reviews and cost $60.00 less per month, I liked that. While I was waiting for the technician to arrive, I was writing a blog. I was pleased with how the blog sounded, At that time the technician arrived and went to work. I didn't have the blog saved, I'm such a dummy. When we changed the internet service it froze my computer. All we could do is shut it down. I lost the blog, all that work gone. I was pretty frustrated with myself.

There is a good end to this day. We rebooted the modem and computer, is it ever fast. The technician told me Earthlink gets their service from AT&T, and they had just run fiber-.optics into our neighborhood. It's fast, holy cow it's fast, I've never seen internet as fast as what we have now. When I watched Kyles training, it spent more time buffering than training. Training will be totally different now. I am thrilled.

The photo above is Syrah, a female Great Pyrenees, we fostered her while she was recovering from heart worms. Her previous owner passed away suddenly, Syrah had spent her first three years tied to a tree in the Texas heat. Syrah loved to run our backyard, she was tall, fast and very graceful. Our Basset Cooper loved to chase her, but never could catch her, he is short, long and slow. He'd get so mad at her, he'd howl, bark and cry. But couldn't catch Syrah unless she let him. Syrah recovered from the heart worms, and has been adopted by a family in Massachusetts. She has been transported and with new family. Won't she look gorgeous in the snow. They asked how Syrah did with cats. She walked up to our tomcat Bongo and he tore into her. She never approached him again. Cats defend themselves pretty well.

We're starting another adventure. Someone said they saw a person throw four puppies from the window of a moving vehicle in front of an abandoned condemned house in Nacogdoches, Texas. They are Golden Retriever mixes. They were very badly malnourished, battered and bruised. We will be fostering a little female, named Cinnamon, she has an injured leg from being thrown. We will keep her until she's healthy and can find her permanent home. She needs some TLC, but we will get her healthy, house broken and fattened up. She'll find a home easy enough.

Hope everyone is safe, happy and productive.

I just can NOT comprehend how people can do anything like this to animals. It makes me want to find them and do the same!!!!! I hope karma kicks in. Perhaps that's not the way to be but it's just horrible. I'm glad there are people like you!

Hi Roger

Congratulations on your Internet upgrade. I'm sure it will improve your life and your productivity very much.

I'm fairly lucky here to have fibre to the building; but it hasn't always been this way and when I first started using the Internet I just had a "dial-up" service (and an acoustic coupler!).

Learning to save our work is an essential but hard-learned lesson. I now save almost continuously by habit. On a PC, that is just a matter of hitting CTRL+S so it is really very quick and easy. Consequently, I have developed the habit of saving my work after every sentence or paragraph. So if there is some unfortunate incident, I maybe lose about 2 minutes' work at maximum.

I wish I had learned this habit earlier in my life. Last night I was looking for some old work that was once on my computer of the day (a novel my daughter wrote but no longer has a copy of, and a poem that I wrote in 1970) but I'm afraid that I probably lost both of them when one of my old computers died without adequate backups.

I do have some old backups on external media, so perhaps I'll have a look for them sometime when I'm not busy with other things.

Best wishes for your continued success.

Kind regards, Wazza

Great decision for it requisite to do so for we will not be clear how to go about the lesson..

There are so many good people here that are willing to help.

We have a half-Bassett Hound half-Blue Heeler. She is fast. Rather than getting our arms pulled out of their sockets by walking her in the neighborhood, we play ball with her twice a day until we wear her out.

Looks like good buddies Rosana. Thanks for the kind words!

I'm astounded that anyone could do that to an animal. Surely if they were unwanted they could have been taken to a shelter. I'm so glad you've got Cinnamon and will look after her until she's healthy. I hope the others are being cared for as well.
Blessings to you Roger.
Cheers
Melissa

Thanks Melissa, all the pups are well tended. Thanks for the concern.
