How I decide on what books to buy!
If a close friend suggests or I run across the title of a book that interests me, I have developed the following list of steps I complete. They are primarily to keep from spending too much money on my favorite activity which is: (1) READING or (2) LISTENING to books being read to me. I loved fiction in the past (still do), but am now focused on nonfiction books on "How to Change Beliefs Hidden Deep in My Subconscious" so that I can create a new personality/ego before I leave this body behind.
1. I check it out on Amazon.ca or .com. for: (a) date; (b) price; (c) author ; (d) Amazon write-up, and (e) reviews. If still interested, I go on to step 2.
2. I use Google and AI to check out the title.

4. I check out if I can get an online copy for free.
5. I buy a copy on Audiobooks (usually for one credit) and I do it because the book is seldom in a library yet.
My last step is to buy a paperback edition if I want to re-read and make notes.
If I am super impressed I send copies to friends and relatives who may feel the same!
