A Successful Start in Affiliate Marketing
Hey Profit Planners,
Ever noticed how real success stories never begin with 'overnight success'?
That’s because genuine success, especially in affiliate marketing, requires a long-term vision.
But when you look more closely, this way of thinking has to happen in almost every industry to achieve life-altering success.
Take Ryan Gosling for example.
Do you think his getting cast for Barbies Ken would've happened without hard work or long-term thinking!?
In a CNBC article back in 2022
Gosling attributes his long, prosperous career in Hollywood and entrepreneurship to a skill he learned in a workshop more than 20 years ago: empathy.
He shared how learning to work with different personalities and leading with kindness has shaped his career.
That comes with consistency.
Switching to Sports: Usain Bolt the 19-time world record holder said:
“I trained for 4 years, to run for 9 seconds. But people quit after 2 months when they don't get results.”
Consider this when you get ready to go to work, building the life of your dreams.
When you work for two months or more and don't make a dollar.
It doesn't mean it's a waste of time, it means you must properly build your foundation for greatness. And that happens over the long term.
A Brief Assignment
Write down your long-term vision for building your affiliate marketing business.
It's important you can see it.
If you bypass this, you're not taking this process seriously and you're results will be the proof.
Ask and answer these questions:
What do you want your work day to look like?
How many hours a day do you want to work?
How much do you want to make per month?
Do you want a big team of people? If not how many?
Are you happier being a solopreneur and working alone? If so, why?
Why are you becoming an affiliate marketer?
Do you want to create your own digital product one day?
What is the biggest limiting belief you have about succeeding?
What must you do to squash that belief once and for all?
Let's get real about what we want and have long-term thinking, so we can get it.
Dedicate some time to figuring this out. Then keep this list in a place where you can see it every day.
Mindset is just as important as executing the technical tasks ahead.
The clearer you are the better direction you have.
To your success,
Rockey
