I am finally getting into the groove of blogging here at WA, but I get a message that says I can only post a blog every 48 hours. I've researched this, ad nauseam, and can't fin
There is a limit to how often you can post here at WA until you've been a premium member for a while (I think it's 3 months). But there's no limit to how often you can post on your own website. Yes, some people go about asking questions in inappropriate ways but you can ask your own questions using the question box at the top or you can go into Live Chat and ask questions and chat there. I hope this helps a bit. ~Marion
Thanks, Marion, for your input! I am at my one-month birthday here! ...and still groping in the dark!
I have seldom asked for help, as I can usually find anything -- and soooo much more -- in the white question bar at the top, or elsewhere! Or, I have PM'd Ambassdors for quality answers. And I've never bothered Kyle or Carson, even though they always say to ask for help.
It seems that people are so quick to go to the blog box and just put out random trite, nebulous stuff and questions, when it's as simple as doing a search through the WA site to find the answers. And all they're doing is cluttering up and diluting the true aspect of blogging on the WA site, and causing more work for those who want real answers, while sifting through all the fluff.
To me, blogging on the WA site is for sharing experiences and strengths gained, with the point of uplifting and encouraging others.
We can find answers to our really pertinent questions in so many other ways without putting mindless, random blurbs out there in the community, at large. Am I wrong?
Thanks, Marion, for your response. I haven't been on live chat, but usually get any questions answered on a thread or the question box. ~ Robbie
why do you give a f%$# about when your blog posts show HERE??! You should be focusing on making money from your blog!
Thanks, Steve, for the reminder! You are so effing right! ...Thanks! It was just an innocent question...Sorrrreeee! Need to focus, need to focus! My site is not going to my satisfaction. So, positive procrastination kicked in and I thought I'd blog for awhile.
As I am only four weeks here, I am just diving in to the blogging waters and searching for proper WA etiquette answers, as so many "newbies" here.
But you're right...I do need to focus on my website for making money. After all, isn't that why we're here? -- to develop or websites and uplift people???
Please read my blogs -- or not -- to get a better perspective of me...which reflects my heart for encouraging people, their "problems" and "wants," -- as you mentioned. I feel that I can be of great value to people in the same position as me, as time will tell....while all the while helping myself and learning about this new venture.
Seems like you're above that, though...
Oh, wait, here are your words on your profile page, ..... "Along the way, doing lots of wrong things, but also gaining bits of good knowledge about different aspects of the industry, but could never quite figure out how to put the WHOLE package together - that is, until I found WA..."
DITTO!
So,l aside from the money/website factor, being here on WA is about the human factor, as I see it. So, maybe you should check your crass approach and try being a little more humane to other newbies -- as you once were!
Thanks for your input! ~ Robbie
