What does this message from Google mean?
I got this email from Google Search Console a few hours ago and don't know what to make of it:
I haven't made any changes to my home page for weeks. So I don't know why this sudden problem.
I guess that I will just follow the Fix It directions. But I was just wondering if anyone else has gotten such a message before. Or if anyone knows why these files would have changed when I haven't made any changes to the page.
Any input welcome!
Robin

Hi.
#1 hover over the link (fetch as google) and ensure it is a verified Google address, and not a spam link
#2 it's reporting your robots.txt file is where the problem is - this can be updated when you check certain boxes in the WordPress editor - such as "exclude from search" - have you made any changes similar to that recently?
All the best, Mark
When I hovered over the link, the bottom left showed google.com/...... That is fine isn't it?
I tried Loe's suggestion below and I think it worked.
I appreciate the help,
Robin

I've gotten that message today as well, Same thing never touched a thing but it's not that big of a deal.
To reteach Google simply click the first 2 suggestions Fetch As Google and Text robot.txt
If you're like me you'll get the All Is Good Good and you're good to go.
I clicked the first two suggestions and on the second test, clicked test which resulted in allow. Sound like everything is fine, doesn't it?
Thanks,
Robin
