Deceptive material took up some of my time since the last blog, as I was just briefly checking the Google console and I saw how there was a steep drop off in impressions after several weeks of steadily increasing. So I asked the community as I had another couple of different messages from the SEO optimiser.

The general consensus was no, a separate issue and to raise a ticket with Site Support, which I did and they gave me the do-it-yourself instructions and wording to send into Google. I followed their instructions and filed the request.

At the same time, I was using my phone to check how the same site was looking online, and I came across this huge blank space on one post. Goes back to WordPress and the same page and it was here I had embedded a YouTube video. I started to doubt whether I had put this up the right way etc, and it started me thinking as to whether this could be an issue. So I took it down. Could that have been anything to do with my deceptive content/page report that had given me absolutely no URL reference from dear Google?

It is just a thought because this guy's video was totally related to my post, but should I have acknowledged his channel better or something? Either way, Google responded and said that the notices would be removed, which they now have. So hopefully it will be reflected in the reports in a couple of days.

I do have a few posts to tidy up from the new ones I posted over the last few days to use my word count up and to go over the 50-post level.

Time spent researching what equipment I might need for YouTube Ing, and I don’t need much, just maybe a good editing software app, but it looks like there is even free stuff for that.

I have also had some enlightening conversations with Gemini and Copilot about how to improve my site traffic and I found it really enlightening and comical at the same time, several Ideas I will be trying and monitoring to see how things go

One of the best bits of info that I had help with was filing my corporate taxes, that saved me quite a bit of money. But another one was a problem I have been having with a a tilt and turn window, Its an older window and an uncommon brand, but AI found me a schematic on it, and even though there is no chance of finding parts for it, I reckon I can go Havana on it.

It also helped me work out a very tricky roof layout and gave me the rise details before I could even pick up the calculator
