255 Lbs to 198.4 Lbs - 116- 89.8 in 5 months
Today is a special day for me as I have hit a major milestone in my weight loss journey which is related to my Wealthy Affiliate journey. 89.8 Kgs (198.4 Lbs. Back in June of this year when I decided to join WA, I realised that spending a lot of time sitting down at my computer in my apartment would compound another issues I had been struggling with.
Being very overweight, at 116Kgs (255.7 Lbs) I had tried keto and other methods which in the past had worked. I believed it was related to some of the medications that the DR’s had put me on, and also because of my deteriorating knee problem and my ability to walk long distances for exercise was gone.
I asked the Drs for help and got nowhere, so I researched online and found several companies, made up a spreadsheet to figure out who offered the best plan and contacted each of their customer service personnel to see who responded in a reasonable time with decent answers.
I finally chose a company that offered the latest weekly injectable option and a product called Mounjaro, had to get medically approved. But that was easy with my really bad BMI numbers. And I have never gone over the 10mg level which was level 3. I am going to continue for 2 more months and hopefully get down to 82kgs (180Lbs)
So it's another thank you for the motivations that are linked to my joining the WA community and the training program.
Besides that today I have been working with iMovie and compiled 2 short videos only 1.5-minute productions but I am learning and one step closer to posting my first YouTube. I will be asking a few questions on this topic again very shortly. But I can see the ease of using iMovie so I think I will fire up my MacBook just for this purpose. But I don't want to be carry 2 laptops haha
Now it's time for sleep again.

Keep at it brother... we here, we all see everything you are doing and we are cheering you on, even if you can't hear us!... Well at least I am. 😊 Showing up for yourself, makes me want to keep showing up for myself too... Lead by example my friend!
Hi Robert,
And thank you for your continued support and I am extra happy that it encourages other people.

I am glad to hear you have had luck losing weight with Mounjaro. I take it weekly as. well but for my a1c. As far as weight loss, it does not work that way for me as i stay constantly the same weight, no more, no less.
so is it more of a placebo and if you are determined to lose weight you will....
doesn't matter whether it actually works it is the result that shows...
some products work for some and not others....
Hi Phil,
As i understand it these drugs were developed for diabetes, but now they are allowing it for more general weight loss. And trust me it's not no placebo, although a positive and enquiring way does help, but it actually curbs your appetite, quite considerably
