Starting wealthy affiliate has opened my eyes to so many new and exciting possibilities. I never thought I would enjoy working on a computer all day or even being social. I took a chance when I signed up to learn how to become an affiliate. This was one of the best decisions I have ever made when it comes to a positive career path for myself. I can't believe how much I needed this and how much I have enjoyed it.
Because of this decision, I have accepted a job as an investment sales rep. This position consists of getting a license to sell and about 5 months to a year of studying. Which if I never signed up for this training program I would have never ever even looked at being a salesperson of any sort. I'm am very proud of myself for facing my fears and moving away from manufacturing.

All sales work is good for self-confidence and is partly the presentation of yourself in listening to a clients needs, asking questions that are answered with more than yes,no, find their pain points, shut up and listen to them tell their story! Feeling truly heard by you, and you can tell if a bond is forming. Tell stories, tell don't sell.
Can you take a selfie with you, Rachel for your first sale, get their name, and remember to ask them for referrals! Referrals are more likely to buy if the friend who referred is happy with their purchase. and ask them for selfie with you too! Perhaps a proof of purchase of some kind is also included in the photo, so it's all about business, and if you ever need another job you are building a sales record and a resume!
And if a referral buys, send a little thank you both ways, and ask again if there is anyone else that they would recommend to you (contact form? who referred who, item(s) purchased how satisfied, were they, could you have done it better since you are new to sales, Keep all of this info confidential to you and them, relationship building again.)

That's some really awesome information! Thanks so much for sharing that with me. I will most definitely take a selfie of my first sale that's a really great idea. The whole company is no joke only based on referrals. I had actually asked if I could build a website to help get clients and she said I would have to get it approved by a judge. So to start I have to come up with 150 names. But I can't actually start till I get my license which will take up to 5 months or more. It is go at your own pace; which Is nice. I can also get it done faster! But since it's going to be a foreign language to me I'm not sure how it's gonna stick.
Jay taught us web services that could be provided for local businesses.
Search function, like correct name their location on google maps, correct phone number, the time they are open, etc. I've seen it twice but right now can't tell you much more. Jay used his barber as an example. So somewhere it is on classes >calendar
