Wow What a journey !
It has been nearly two months since I joined WA. So much has happened and I would like to share my journey and what I have accomplished so far with my fellow WA members.
I have been able to:
- Choose my Niche after extensive research
- Buy a domain
- Create a word press blog site
- Do Key words research via Jaaxy
- Create initial content
- Add images and video on the blog posts
- Rank some of my of posts on google
- Offer feedback on other people's websites
- Receive and give comments on my and other WA members' blog sites as well collaborating with them
- Create Google+ account and related content
- Completed Getting Started Certificate Course
- Nearly Finished Building Your Own Traffic Producing Website course
What Can I Do Different?
- Organise my time better
- Be more consistent in what I do
- Write longer posts
- Write more frequently i.e couple of posts a week
- Increase the numbers of posts on my blog site
- Be more creative in my writing
- Review and improve past content
- Engage better within WA community by answering more questions, welcome and help new comers, write more posts, etc
- Improve SEO
What Next ?
- Monetize the blog
- Master advertising and marketing
- Build on social media engagements
- Master email marketing and create email campaigns
- Build my brand
- Start Bootcamp
- Complete all courses.
Mistakes To Avoid
- Distraction - very easy to get over whelmed with the training and WA community activities
- Time wasting
- Not sticking to the process
- Not asking questions when not sure as opposed to waste too much time in trying to figure things out by myself which I enjoy but that is the reason why we have the WA community to give and ask for help when needed
- Be realistic in what I can achieve for specific goals in a given time
- Loosing focus

You are welcome James. Yes, the Avoid section applies to many of us the particularly the distractions. you start one thing then you end up doing something completely different.

When we have clarity of what we are doing, it makes easier to accomplish the tasks we set out to do... which will overall contribute to the success of building our online businesses.

Perhaps... I learn more quickly in outline form or appreciate the comfort that a clearly written overview settles on my brain. In either case, you have captured the lessons of writing content and my attention...one of my most favorite posts far and away!

Hey David, I am pleased to hear that the outline has helped you and other members.
I like to break things downs into tasks. I can visualise them better in my head and it allows me to have clarity of what I am doing or would like to do or planning to do.. like a check list.
Rome was not built in a day. The key is to make a start, follow the training and check off the lists as you go along.
Every day complete a set of tasks and move forward.
True success comes from accumulation of many smaller tasks along the way.. like building house,brick by brick before you know it you have a whole house I guess website building and starting and running a business the same.
