A promise to the New Year
I promise to remove my faults, improve my traits and be a better man.
I promise that I would be a better law-abiding citizen.
I promise that I would try to help more people.
I promise that I would learn from my mistakes and would not repeat them.
I promise to reach out to those friends and family members who remained somewhat neglected.
I promise to work harder.
I promise to make my life more useful and purposeful.
I promise to make you better, happier, more beautiful and more prosperous for me and others.

To make sure that I continue to fulfill my purpose on the earth so that when I die, I can die empty, having fully used all the talents I have been given, to help others.

That is the spirit. Well, that is a way to encourage yourself.
All of us have different superpowers, and we should leave no stone unturned to find, nurture and use those superpowers. Drinking 5 cups of tea in 5 minutes is one of my superpowers.
I usually Promise the same things I have respect for.
1. To be a good person
2. Have a real purpose
3. Work hard at everything I do
4. Make a difference
While I have felt my Super Power has always been and will always be in helping others, it is not a promise, yet a daily activity I do no matter what. I will go out of my way to help others.
