My dream deserves one last shot
This is one of those days I will remember no matter what happens.
My Story (short version)
My name is Rita and I have been dreaming of an internet business for years, and like many of you have spent thousands of my hard earned dollars on everything out there on www. Internet marketers know how to get you to push that orange button. Goes without saying nothing panned out (short version remember). it was just a pipe dream, or was it? I know that millions of people are earning a very good living doing this stuff. They have parted me with my money all these years and continue to do so. Not a bad thing, just to be clear. I'm at a place in my life I've never been before. I have recently retired part time, unfortunately or maybe fortunately the job that was intended to supplement my income disappeared. I have a very little money to keep me going for about a year, I think, if I'm very careful.
I am 63 years young and all this online business stuff does not come easy to me (to say the least). Getting a part time job at this age is not easy when there are hundreds of applicants much more qualified and able. There is something l can do and would be good at but something inside me said " that would just be another job" and I wanted my DREAM. Since I now have all the time in the world to do this seriously, I DECIDED THAT MY DREAM DESERVES ONE LAST SHOT. If this does not work it's game over for me, but I will accept that I just don't have what it takes to do this.
I just joined Wealthy Affiliate. This opportunity came at the perfect time (thank you God).
I promise myself that I will do this in earnest this time. Ask all the stupid questions I need to until I get it (sorry for this everyone) and not give up for one whole year.
I have a good feeling about this. I give permission to this WA community to kick my ass whenever I need it, it may be a lot.
I have been a member of WA in the past but never did a thing except pay for my membership. Here's to a fresh start. THANK YOU KYLE and CARSON for this opportunity and the whole community as well.

Rita, you can do this. In the beginning I felt the same way, I left and came back. More motivated than ever. I realized that WA is based on some simple biblical principles when you apply them correctly will work for you time after you time. After applying the lessons and videos, I made my first $8.00 and it all came together for me. Quitting is not an option, it will work for you.

We are both about the same age, I have a passion to help when I can to guide to the right direction, and bring out of you what is within you that you may not be aware of. Be persistent with it, and you will find success. WA deserves time and patience.. It's not a get rich overnight thing. If you can take a step back and realize that, you will be much better off.. Wishing you all the best!

You CAN do this, you have an entire community here for backup and support. Just work through the lessons at a comfortable pace and ask questions if you get stuck or have a problem.
This will allow you to take control of your own destiny, not having to answer to others. But it will only work if you put in the time and effort.
The live video classes are great too, lots of information there :)

You are right. I feel that this is the right place for me. I've only been here a week and I DO feel supported by the Awesome people in this community. It seems to take me longer to get the hang of things when we're talking computers, but I believe I CAN do this in WA. Your encouragement is so very helpful.
