In 2013, I retired with over 32 years in law enforcement. In 2011, I began my own business conducting home inspections. In 2017, I decided to leave the home inspection business. I also began working as an assistant facility manager at a nearby large church where I have a regular work schedule. I also joined Wealthy Affiliate, using my evenings as much as possible to write articles to post on my Website to use as a medium in helping people learn how to maintain their own home.
Note: In June of 2018, I retired from everything but Wealthy Affiliate. I now devote my days to 1) writing articles pertaining to safety in the home, 2) babysitting grandkids and 3) being more active in my church.
My wife and I were married in 1985. We are members of and active in an Independent Fundamental Baptist church. We enjoy babysitting our two grandkids, eating out (too much, I'm afraid!) and going on cruises with family and friends from church.
I am available for questions concerning the home, the home inspection process, the Bible and fundamentalism (though I will not argue about either) and law enforcement. I gladly accept comments and feedback, preferably of the constructive type.
