YOU Need A Bigger Plan If What You Are Doing Is Not Working!
People are so quick to fail. Why? Because they are usually following someone that is struggling themselves. Even if there is a tiny bit of success they are having. It does not mean they are able to help others.
Stop the following and being a servant online to those that are not even successful. People imagine that they must put in the time to make money online. Sure, some time is required to set things up. But not all their time.
If you are putting in all your time and even like many, have worked at it 4 to 8 hours per day and still have limited results. You are wasting your time. What you are doing is not working if it is not working!
Many believe Social Media works? Wrong. Free marketing works, wrong. Not unless you know exactly what you need to do and have been coached in what is necessary that works. Many things no longer work. If you are following the masses you are mass confused.
Sure I ramble a bit in the video I show below, but I'm trying to make a point about free marketing. It just does not work very well without first being someone credible. No one Fn.. listens.
Also you are not targeting the right demographic! Go back to WA training 101.
I have been seeing this same friend of mine overwhelming himself with doing videos online and talking til his blue in the face and his results suck! He is offering a program called Exitus and many cannot even afford the $1500 start up. But he is trying to market it by sending videos of himself in a car no less! ha.
That could be you, it really was me years ago. And that shat don't work any more. It wasn't working back in 2013,14,15. No matter who tells you it does. It don't$^%#$#%
So, I've decided to do a contest here where I will give someone real cash for showing me that they are doing some type of free promoting on social media that IS working.
You show me that what you are doing is working and I will reward you. I now earn way more money than most here at WA and am willing to put that money where my mouth is.
If you use Social Media, at least learn how to do it effectively. Stop wasting your time and thinking that you are going to make a difference.

Thanks for the share and the great video Rick, yes you're right, many people say "Don't ever quit!" but that's a slogan with a few words missing... You can't just blindly carry on forever without seeing any improvements. A bigger plan! Thanks Rick!
I hear it time and time again. Just keep on. But if what you are doing does not work you need to try something else quickly! I was not cut out to do social media it appears, and I'm sure many are not.
And so I voice my opinion and here we go again! ha.

Great Blog Rick .. 100% agree with you .. I am not as experienced as you, but I will share. Social Media has worked for me because I can get to the demographic to matches one of my Niche .. BUT it is PAID Social Media NOT free and I have been doing it for two years. The products are not affiliate products but my own (actually I should say "our" because this venture is my wife and I). The 2 years of Social Media promotion has established my wife as an "Authority Figure" in our city so now she is "known". It has taken time. The last 120 days has seen our business X2. In the next 120 days my plan is to X3 the promotion budget and scale the business and move it into other markets.
If I had tried to do this for free it would take another 10 years .. or forever because I could not spend the amount of time online that is required.
And I still need a mentor .. lol.

Yes but we are talking about free marketing verses paid advertising. You have shown me here that paid advertising works, but in the same breath you say that free marketing would have taken you ten years? So yes that makes sense.
I see some likes for your comment here. Great. What I do is speak the truth of what works. And I'm criticized greatly for that.
But whenever I call people out and hold them accountable, most fade off into the distance. LOL

I have been experimenting on social media for the last month to see what it's about.
From what I've seen, it can be a huge waste of time and resources unless you have a narrowed down niche and you create a community.
You know what? I don't think it matters what you do. I've seen many use it daily all day and they get results, but the time spent cannot ever be justified if they are getting a couple of sales every month at $22.50 per sale.
Now if you were doing some type of training and you could somehow connnect with like minded visitors and talk them into joining you on a call, which resulted in a $1400 dollar commission or client to coach payment. Things would be different.
But for most all of us here at Wa. That is not the case. Thanks for the reply.

I have to agree and disagree. I've tested social media and worked hard at it and even believed in it at first. What does not work is the amount of time spent compared to income increases. Unless you see the message above I wrote for cbarnes.
In that case it might be productive. I know there are some that have success. But the majority of us new marketers are not.
