Got My Site Set High

Finally got a site up that I'm happy with...the purpose and content anyways. I have lots of tweaking to do with the format, etc. but at least I have something to work with now.

I struggled, like some newbies do here, on what my niche would be. Then I realized that for the past 6 months I've been pondering the decades in my life (some would say I'm old...my teens anyways). When I add up those decades in terms of observations and experience I realized I had much to offer. So I went with that! Spent a lot of time on keyword research and then began writing content, based on what I know and what I think readers would want.

Will this site be successful? Define that:

It already is because I'm learning how to do things online here at WA that I've been wanting to do for a long time.
It is because I'm having fun (although I will admit to a few grr'rs).
And it is because it's up!

Will it be successful financially? Maybe. But while that is my long term goal it may not be the reality right now and with this site. I will set my site(s) on monetizing because it is one of the reasons I'm doing this. But that won't be my primary focus right now.

What is? Following the plan...cuz I got my site set high!

Just in follow up, looked at your site...excellent! I considered using that theme as well but it wasn't suited. Works great with yours. Like how you did the Amazon books. I might consider changing the way I have mine. Great job

Great start Rick... It's all about the learning curve.... it is a vast one, but once the basics are learned, you can then focus on the details because you now actually have a foundation from which to build and improve... that is the hardest part. :) Congratulations!
