My own personal take on the wa affiliate programme

Today, I completed my first lesson in Phase 1 of the Affiliate Bootcamp (fanfares, drum rolls, etc!).

Once I’ve completed the full Bootcamp training I intend to start developing niches and I’ve got some in mind so watch this space….

But for now, I want to share with you in my first blog post on my progress through the WA community my own take on the earnings potential of being a WA affiliate.

SUCCESS IS BUILT DAILY, NOT IN A DAY.

By virtue of being members of WA, we should all know about the importance of having a goal – in this case, an income goal. ‘

To achieve our goals, we must have a plan and we must work the plan by breaking our goal down into bite sized chunks. If we want to work towards a certain income within one year, we have to think monthly and then weekly and even daily and crank up the dial as we see our results coming in if we’re behind.

“Yes we know that, Rich, please get to the point” I hear you say! Bear with me if you please!

Other than to say I intend to qualify for Vegas at the end of 2017, I’m not going to say what my actual income goal is because that’s not what this post is about.

This post is about what different people, working at different paces, can achieve based on the commission levels and the 12% (roughly 1 in 8) conversion rate of Free Members to Premiums.

Most importantly, it shows the potential of this programme to massively change peoples’ lives for the better even by only working it part time, as I suspect most people will be doing – at least in their early days.

I’ve sat down with a calculator (sad, I know lol!) and worked out some figures which are actually quite mind blowing when you think about it. I’ve based all the calculations on a new affiliate upgrading to annual membership and staying with the programme to generate his or her Sponsor a $175 recurring annual commission.

I know that’s an over simplification which will never actually happen in the real World, but it’s an easy way to explain the potential of the Comp Plan in layman’s terms to people we’re showing it to for the first time.

As I live in the UK, I work in Pounds and Pence, but as WA pay out in US Dollars, I’ll do both sets of figures side by side working on today's exchange rate of $1 = £0.79. Here goes…..

To qualify for Vegas, we must introduce 300 Premium Members in one year. Based on 12% conversion, we have to bring in 2500 Free Members. Sounds intimidating? Not so much if we break it down. We have to introduce 48 Free Members per week or less than 7 per day (6.85 to be exact!), ie, less than 1 per day upgrading. Now it doesn’t seem quite so scary, I bet!

Now, apart from a free, fancy bells and whistles all expenses trip to Vegas, 1 Premium per day on annual membership will earn you $63875 / £50935 over the year. That’s $5323 / £4245 per month RESIDUAL income in the years thereafter.

Now let’s say we’re not looking to qualify for Vegas for whatever reason and are only working the programme part time. Let’s take a look at 1 Premium Member joining us per week. This will earn you

$9100 / £7256 a year which is $758 / £605 in monthly residual income.

Now, let’s compare this to what people are earning in jobs and see how quickly this programme can change people’s lives through what Jim Rohn calls ‘The Magic of Part Time’.

Here in the UK, the National Minimum Wage in 2016 was £7.20 per hour – that’s $9 and a couple of Cents.

A person working a 40 hour week on the National Minimum Wage will earn £14976 / $18781 in a year.

If this person brings in just 1 Premium Member per week working part time around their job, it will take him or her just a few weeks either side of 2 years to replace that income AND CONTINUE TO RECEIVE IT EVERY YEAR WITHOUT HAVING TO WORK FOR IT ANY MORE!

How cool is that….?!

Here’s a few more figures for comparison:

The median annual income in the UK is £28000 (roughly $35500). It would take someone just 4 years working as described above to replace that income.

The UK State Pension in 2016 was £6240 ($7825) per year for a single person. That equates to 45 Premium Members per year – less than 1 a week. Imagine how a Pensioner could enjoy their retirement if they were able to double their income in less than a year without having to resort to stacking shelves at their local supermarket! Think of the legacy they could leave to their loved ones!

Currently in the UK, men qualify for the State Pension at age 65 and women at age 60. In 2018 it will be 65 for both men and women, rising to 66 in 2020 and to 68 by 2028.

Now, consider a 20 year old starting out as an Affiliate in WA. If he or she were to bring in just 1 Premium per week for 48 years, that’s $175 x 52 x 48. That comes to a mind blowing $436800 (£345072) a year in residual income!

If that’s not better than sex, it has to come pretty damned close!
