Why Wealthy Affiliate is the Right Choice for Me

As a relatively new member to WA, I can already tell that this is the right fit for me. Like so many others out there, I have been searching for years to finding something that I can work at from home and create a income that will sustain me as I grow older. I currently do work from home as a medical editor, and have been doing so for about 5 years now. While I like what I do, the income that I make from doing this will not make me self sufficient. If I do not work, the income goes away.

Recently, my dad had a heart attack, and I was faced with the awful choice of whether I could afford to go home or not to see him. Thankfully, my siblings stepped up and made it possible for me to go. That was the final straw for me, and I decided that I will not be put in that position again. About that time, while searching again for some solution to end my financial shortfall, I stumbled across Wealthy Affiliate.

The more I read and do my lessons, the more I appreciate Kyle and Carson for what they have created and the wealth of information available to me. The atmosphere of helping others and creativity is infectious. Where I once was stuck in a rut with seemingly no way out, I have ideas and a vision for my future that I did not think was possible for me. I am determined to put in the work and time to achieve my goal of being self sufficient and to create an business that will operate whether I am working or not. Life is too short to have to choose money over family. Now is the time to make money work for me, instead of me working for money!!
