I thought we could just set them all to 'nofollow'. I get a lot of comments on some of my posts, I would hate to have to go in and delete all those URLS.
I did not know you could delete the url, does having url's in your comments affect your site or just the site the url directs to?
You go into the comments section where the reply is ad edit it. Then you just delete the url.
It can be. It could be leading to a bad site or too many and google will mark you down.
I had someone sign up to one of my websites and do nothing. I checked the email addfress and it was for an email website. I felt just having the email addy sitting there was a way they were trying to up their rank with google because of the connection with my site, so I deleted them.
When I comment on other members site I will enter my URL so they can reciprocate if they choose. I expect them to delete the link when publishing the content which I do as well.
You can if you want, I delete them before i approve the comment. It's considered not good now
